Most of the time I have at best an expectation of mediocre food at wedding type events - the food that C&C brought for our event was a Mexican based theme and very good. You obviously also had many kind moments and just had everything under control. I do think you could benefit from having like an office manager, sometimes I would email and take a while to hear back. But you are the chef and should be able to focus on your food! I kind of don't care really if they drink after they are done serving all the food but I am concerned if you were drinking from our bar that we paid for. I really hope you had your own alcohol. A lot of my guests told me and they don't think it was professional so adding this note in for those that will care. I don't think it's worth knocking any points off UNLESS it was from our open bar for our guests. I also think for the breakfast when we left, the trays and anything left by you should have been disposable, we shouldn't have to drop off anything and it ended up being a few more things than we had discussed (a text with a clear list of what you needed back would have been huge, I had to keep asking and then the tong got left behind since I thought they were the venues) The morning after casserole was so delicious and the perfect hearty meal. I can't even express enough how delicious the food was. Seriously, hire this guy. We went to a tasting to try our rehearsal dinner and my now husband and I were freaking out over how good it was. Edit: I actually am removing a few stars because I hired your wife Katie as my day of coordinator on your recommendation (and based on her Google/yelp reviews that might all be friends and family) she was terrible and admitted to taking a shot when I was going down the aisle. If she had owned her mistakes and sloppy contract which noted takedown that she then said wasn't included (I have receipts) I would amend or change my mind but she was very unprofessional and did not own her mistakes and has yet to reply to me. Don't refer her in the future it's a detriment to your catering business.

One of Rebecca's staff told us that they don't have a barbeque, lumpia, or pansit left as it is almost 1 pm, and the barbeques they're grilling are for a catering order. When Rebecca heard this, she immediately jumped in and told us that she could grill some barbecues for us. We paid for one barbeque, but she surprised us with two (the other one is free!). We couldn't believe the exceptional customer service she provided and her flexibility to grill two barbecues when there was none left. Her two other staff (too bad we didn't get their names) displayed a positive attitude throughout our conversations. They multi-task by talking to us while putting the meat on their sticks. Finding this gem and nice people is one of the highlights of our trip to Crescent City. I hope you can visit them when you're in the area to have the same wonderful experience. There is a big white swinging door the separates the dining area and the kitchen. It looks like it's never been clean. Filthy and the staff kept pushing it open grime and grease yall over it. Needless to say this was our last trip. Not good. Not returning. My stomach turns just writing this review.
