I had ended up in the ER due to unexplained swelling in my my legs and feet. The ER found nothing wrong, but wanted me to see a Vascular Surgeon just to be safe. I couldn't get a hold of the one they recommended, so I was able to get my primary to do an order to see Dr. Citrin. He came into the exam room and literally said "So you ended up in the ER due to leg swelling, but that has nothing to do with me, and it's not my problem. Go see your Cardiologist, it's his problem not mine." He never looked at the paperwork, never examined me, never let me ask any questions. The last thing he said was "You're probably in Congestive Heart Failure, but like i said, that's the Cardiologist's problem, not mine.' When I saw my Cardiologist 3 weeks later I told him that Dr. Citrin said I'm in Congestive Heart Failure and I asked if that was true. The Cardiologist said "Absolutely not true at all. There is nothing wrong with your heart, and you actually did better on your stress test this time than the last time a few years ago. You are a low risk for heart problems." Avoid Dr. Citrin like the plague read more
