The office manager is just awful, she is disrespectful and completely lacks empathy. On occasion I have been a few min late (5-10) because of the distance and the construction that congests the road. This is a well known problem coming from 54. Any time I am late I call, usually waiting on hold for 15-20 min at any given time. The person who answers always tells me it is no big deal as they have a 15 min policy. When I get there I get yelled at about being 5 to 10 min late and they demand evidence that I called and got permission. This is usually when they bring the manager out (Angela) to yell at me like a child and tell me how I am going to be last because I was 5 min late. The staff has yelled me a few times for no reason. I am a grown woman and do not deserve to be yelled at for seeking care. Empathy and compassion go a long way in the medical field. The last time I tried to schedule (several months ago), the nurse Teresa told me they would not see me because they didn't like the reason I gave them (generic conditions flair up). She screamed at me on the phone and hung up. Due to the history of this happening I began recording my calls with them. In the call you can clearly hear me very calm and polite as she's screaming at me. When she refused to schedule after several minutes I told her the call was being recorded and she hung up. I have evidence that I've never been anything but kind to them, they don't care about people at all. Edit: it was always less than 15 min. I have always been respectful even though respect is not what I received back. When she says they "accommodated" me, they had us wait several hours because we were 5 minutes late. There are a variety of reviews on a variety of sites that all say the same thing, the staff members are very rude and disrespectful.

The first impression of this location was that it was huge, and it reminded me of a train station. I quickly got checked in, and waited briefly for my appointment for a skin check up with the dermatologist. The assistant who brought me back, was nice, cordial, and didn't talk much. She stated while the nurse practitioner - Carol(I forget her last name) stayed in the room while she checked my skin and face. The Nurse practitioner was very knowledgeable, and let me know about different marks on my face. She did proceed by cutting one of my skin tags/wart like things off of my face. The assistant put the shot to numb the area, and Carol very delicately cut it off. It did not hurt. She explained and answered all of my questions. I may go back again since it was quick and efficient. AT the end of the visit, they did seem to rush out quite quickly. I do not know if that was Florida Medical Clinic making them rush off, or what that exactly that was. But I was happy to get out pretty quickly. I also was the first appointment, so that may have been another reason it was quite quick.

Called this office asked if they take my insurance and to pls book me for a yearly physical. I was told yes they take my insurance which covers 100% of yearly physical. Went in noticed a different description was being used and informed once more I was only there for a physical the receptionist said that is the description they use for physicals. Was taken care of by a Doctor she seemed nice asked lots of questions and did the regular physical procedures any office does including referrals ect.. a few months later I received a bill. Called the billing department who were very rude and not helpful at all. Did not want to discuss my concerns or issues got hung up on though using calm tone and trying to explain my situation. The office had to call in themselves and explain the situation to billing. Billing service said they would revise they were charging me for new patient appointment not a physical. I explained I went in for physical and did not receive any other service. After 6 months of wait for revision today I find out by going into office because I received another bill that they know they put me in with the wrong code but refuse to fix it stating doctor addressed a vitamin D deficiency and that physicals can not be performed there. By the way I have no vitamin D deficiency I had told her my old doctor detected a vitamin D deficiency 7 years ago when I lived up north. The Doctor took that information and turned it into a bill. I would not recommend this place unless you are looking to get scammed, or lied to. Be careful what office you step into and give your personal information to. This office is very good at scamming people.

DONT ever go here. They lie and dont let ypu see the MD when you specialty schedule for.MD only and deceive you with a NPR but she DOESNT tell me.she was so.i assumed she was the MD. Was told with apt I would be there for max 1 hr as they were very slow at the time and I was there for over 2 hrs and had to literally speed to my pharmacy to pickup 4 rx but 3 of them needed PAs FROM the dr office pharmacy said and that dr had to do this. Drove back to them to only be treated In the worst possible way ever. Oh and i showed the NPR my positive test results from GYN from over a month ago and what medS ive tried and they failed to cure it. When I went back I asked to speak to MD but wAS told I couldn't and NPR came out and I tried to explain that pharmacy said 3 of them need Pas for them and overrides and that dr office had to do it. First was told that a different department does that and that it would take over a week for them to even get to it. I needed these now for my infections and I tried to ask more questions about rxs and office manager IMMEDIATLY picked up her cell phone and called boss Mohamed ( who earlier was working the front desk and was actually very nice at this point) and he was so rude and said that there was an Additional fee of $50 for each PA I have to pay out of pock when i have full health ins of which they already billed. Told him ive never in my entire life been told that there is extra money required by dr office for them to do pas and overrides with my ins for there own rx that they wrote and he said I needed to leave now as it was 6:43pm and they didn't close until 7pm I said i will leave when they will answer the rest of my few questions about rxs and they refused and called 911 and lied and said I was an out of control patient refusing to leave and that they were already closed but it was only 6:52pm at that time I had enough so I just left. Now even the worst part is that I did research on all the 4 rx and 3 out of 4 are completely contraindicated for my type of fungal yeast infection that i showed the NPR And if taken and used that it would make the Infection much worse. So now im left with no rx to treat my Infection and gyn cant get me in Until 3/17 and PCP doesn't do cultures of that area so that why I choose to go to them in The first place cause was told they do cultures and also treat my other infection too. So now I have to go to another but REAL URGENT CARE AGAIN TOMORROW cause im not only very itchy and uncomfortable now for over a month but its gotten worse to where its very painful now. So take my experience as as learning lesson and NEVER EVER GO THERE OR SEND ANYONE YOU CARE ABOUT THERE IF YOU WANT TRUE ACTUALLY LEGIT HEALTHCARE in a PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND That knows how to treat a positive test result with the correct meds and also doesn't lie to you or charge extra for Prior authorizations and over RIDES by calling my health ins FOR THERE OWN RXs that came from them. I even think this is illegal seeing they billed my ins for the visit and it paid it in full with $0 copay for me cause I made sure they were in network with both of my ins when I scheduled apt with rain in scheduling department. They are trying to pull a fast one on people who may not know better but its the drs job to get pAs and do overrides if needed by calling your health ins if its their rx that its about. The pharmacy nor patient can do this. ONLY THE DR CAN AND DEFINITELY SHOULD DO THIS WITHIN ATLEAST 24 HRS WHEN ITS AN ACTIVE WORSENING INFECTION THAT IF LEFT UNTREATED COULD BECOME SEPTIC IN YOUR BLOOD ENDING YOU UP IN THE HOSPITAL. they need to be reported to the board of medicine for this and most importantly for THE IDIOT NPR WRITING 3 RX THAT WOULD MAKE MY TYPE OF INFECTION MUCH WORSE IF TAKEN.
