However, when we came to Harvest, all of that changed. The focus is on kids learning, in a positive Christian environment, and not on homework testing and peer pressure. My kids have really excelled in academics and THEY ARE SO HAPPY each day they go to school and when they come home. With the added benefit of dual enrollment classes, most kids finish with college credits when the graduate. While the small Christian environment will not be for everyone, it has certainly served my kids well.

I would like to share the letter that I forwarded to the Saint Johns school district…read moreso maybe one day things can change: "Good morning, we live in Ponte Vedra Beach exactly 2 miles from Ocean Palms Elementary School but to not lose my job (no after care) we were obligated to move her to Flagler Charter School and now I'm driving around 30 minutes to my daughter to go to school with after care available. We've tried all the private schools around our home without spots. Nicole was adapting well and loving the school and the After care and school administrators didn't bother even to answer Yes or No after 6 months trying waitlist and several phone calls and e-mails. The last time Ms Kim LaMondie answered "At this time we are on a waitlist. We will be sure to put Nicole on the list. I will reach out to you as soon as we open our waitlist." was on Jan/23/2023 and since then we didn't have any responses after several times trying contact. So, to not lose my job I was obligated to change my daughter to somewhere with after care. Now we drive very far every day for school. I don't think this is fair to us and our daughter always cries missing her neighborhood friends and the school - It looks like we are out of the social neighborhood now even though we live right there. We hope this situation can change because we are very unhappy to not be able to study around our home and to be excluded from the social around there for this reason. In fact, shortly after I graduated, Stanton was ranked #4 for the most challenging high school in the Southern US. The school offers honors, AP, and IB classes. Stanton offers various honor societies that support the students in every field, ranging from math society to English society to Spanish society to music society and so forth. Besides being academically gifted, Stanton also offers athletic programs to provide students with physical activity and morale. Some sports include cross country, wrestling, tennis, lacrosse, and so forth. The students that go to Stanton are very competitive. They usually perform higher than average. As a result, this school has far above test scores and results. Fun facts: there are more females than male students, the ratio of student to faculty is 19:1, and the school is very diverse. Overall, Stanton was a great experience for me. It really prepared me for college and beyond. Its excellent academics truly made my college years less stressful. I had a hate-love relationship with Stanton. There were times that I felt like I wanted to drop out of school. But there were times that I focused and dedicated myself to finishing the school. My foremost advice is if you can truly stay on task and do your work, then this school is right for you. Stanton is designed to challenge one's mind. It provides good teachers that help and encourage you through 4 years. The work is overwhelming, but anything is possible with hard work and dedication. Remember, hard work pays off. Start off with honors classes. If you excel in those classes, move to IB classes. AP classes are mandatory.

I am very pleased with this school and highly recommend it to anyone wanting their child to get a good education. KIPP is a charter school with a different outlook. The class days are long and the work is hard, but the support system provided is excellent. Their goal is to prepare the children for high school and college and I truly believe my daughter is more prepared for high school now than the average 8th grader.

After a smooth elementary school experience, middle school brought morning panic attacks and severe school avoidance for our family. After missing most of the first two weeks of school, we embarked on a long, exhausting search to find an environment where our son could feel safe, understood, and supported. We tried charter schools, private programs, and temporary homeschooling while visiting multiple specialized schools--yet nothing felt quite right until we walked through the doors of The Broach School of Orange Park. From the very first moment, Director Sonya Sutter and her assistant Ms. Smith were a absolute treasure. Ms. Sutter greeted us with a genuine, warm smile and immediately set a completely different tone. Rather than rushing through a standard tour or speaking solely to us while treating our son as if he weren't in the room, she spoke directly to Anthony. She took the time to listen to him, validate his feelings, and talk with him like the capable person he is. She offered thoughtful, practical ways he could thrive rather than just survive. That initial conversation was the light at the end of a very dark tunnel for our family. While the journey back to comfort in the classroom has naturally had a few speed bumps, the progress Anthony has made is nothing short of incredible. Bad days have quickly given way to good days, and each week brings more confidence and stability. His grades are fantastic, and he is excelling academically. The environment at The Broach School fosters both personal independence and a strong sense of accomplishment through continuous positive reinforcement. Furthermore, the faculty and staff set the standard for parent partnership--communication is open, welcoming, and response times to emails are remarkably fast.
