He guided me through everything I needed to know about getting my savings account and checking account started, including getting my wife signed onto both accounts in case of emergency. He got my ATM card, and ordered checks for me. He also showed me how to use the mobile app which I now have on my phone. Christian took his time and answered all our questions. Beautiful, new branch that opened in late June. There's only 1 ATM in between the two sets of doors and I believe there was another one inside as well. I came half an hour before closing on a Friday with no appointment and there were no other customers. I got helped right away by a lady whose name I didn't catch but she was super kind and transferred me over to another friendly guy whose name I also didn't catch to help me close out an account. Actual closing of the account was fast and painless and there were no excessive questions about my reason for closing, which is always appreciated. I did get pitched for a new credit card since I have other cards with Chase but I expected something like that. The whole place/experience is very elevated. Everything looks nice and polished. Even the keyboards they were using were wireless and slim with computer monitors mounted on fancy arms. I'm in the area for family but if I lived here myself, I'd definitely come back. Would recommend paying this branch a visit if you need anything!

I needed to make a wire transfer in order to pay a bill and the bank refused.. I asked why and get.. "We feel as though..." Who the fuck is WE.. this is my money and I needed to pay a bill.. What right does the manager Brunna have to refuse to make a transfer I requested so that I could pay a bill.. Bad enough I had to answer numerous questions and sign a waiver... To be refused because the bank didn't agree.. It's MY money and I worked hard for it.. if I wanna transfer it or fuckin burn it.. that is my decision. I closed my account and will never ever return!

Santander bank has been very helpful to me and others. I have known several of the tellers for decades as the bank went from Bank of New England, to Shawmut and other iterations. They are always friendly and helpful. The bankers who sit at desks and help people with customer service are also extremely courteous and knowledgeable. All of the employees say hello to customers they see frequently by name. I couldn't ask for more from a bank.

My Rockland Trust debit card information was stolen and used by someone in another state to make a…read morepurchase of nearly $1,000.00 I was sent a text message from Rockland Trust on that day asking me if I made this purchase, to which I replied "NO", and the card was subsequently frozen and my account was given a provisional credit for that $1,000.00 fraudulent purchase. Fast forward 3 months later, and the provisional credit I had been given was then RESCINDED by Rockland Trust, and I was told they had been given "proof" by the merchant where the fraudulent transaction occurred that it was not fraudulent, despite the fact that the bank itself CONTACTED me that day when the purchase was made as they suspected it to be fraudulent. Now Rockland Trust is telling me there is "nothing more we can do", despite having already being able to provide me a credit for the fraudulent purchase that they TOLD me about the moment it happened. I will very likely be taking my business elsewhere entirely and never banking here again because of this complete failure, on Rockland Trust's part, to protect me and my financial security despite every indication and piece of evidence they had to do so.
