When someone tried to used my debit card from Citizens Bank out of state we immediately received a phone call and the card was cancelled. Huntington allowed a charge for a package shipped to New York (we live in PA) with a clearly fake name (there are numbers in the name) to go through. When we asked to have the charge reversed we were told no as it had gone through (it is clearly in a pending status). Then , when my husband asked to speak to a supervisor he was hung up on. I will be withdrawing all funds this week and finding a new bank.

I have noticed a clear drop in customer service the past few years. They still have many Airline Employees that are members. Many fly to Europe weekly. Yet they don't have 24-hour service. So if we are stuck with a problem in europe and they are closed, we are just shyt out of luck. I tried paying a dinner bill one time, and my card was denied. I almost went to jail. Today, I'm trying to pay a bill, and it's been denied multiple times and telling me it was fixed. It has gotten worse since 2023. What changes were made then. BTW, if I ask to speak to a manager, don't try to fix the problem yourself, let me speak to a manager.

I tried for three weeks to setup an account with a outside bank and after I email all the information to them three times. This bank is still not helping me. I recommend switching banks or not using this bank at all.

In all fairness, all of the tellers I have dealt with have been pleasant. All except one, and the includes the alleged CEO. The older woman teller with the glasses and the short hair (whom I am assuming is the manager) is the most terse, unhelpful, and poorest communicator I have ever come across in my 35 years of transacting. She is quite unpleasant and exudes a harsh and uninviting aura that is certain to repel patrons from this establishment. The last straw was today when she told me that they were unable to deposit a 3rd party check that was endorsed to me. The establishment itself is grim and dingy. Based on the decor, it looks as if it has not done any renovations since the 1970's. Their online banking software is abysmally archaic and out of date by at least 15 years. Furthermore, they are habitually slow with processing deposits electronically. I have also seen first hand the apparent unscrupulous methods in which they Collect unjustified fees from certain patrons. I feel bad for the other pleasant employees that work there, as one can only assume they must endure a good deal of unnecessary stress and just put up with it because it's a job. I wonder if they have ever been investigated, because surely I cannot be the only one who has made these observations. If possible, find somewhere else to do your banking.
