My husband has also been here a few times and raved about their donuts. Their sentiments were the same. My aunt still comments on how wonderful and warm their donuts were. We make kolaches at home most of the time so it's good to get a comparison to the in store versions. The sausage quality is a standard issue hot dog sausage and with melted shredded cheese. The boudin kolache was a bit underseasoned and bland and the carb on carb combination was quite heavy. The staff were nice and it's a good spot to have in the area.

As I turned I saw a huge American cockroach walk from behind a table and make its way towards the front door. That freaked me out but I do understand that it's Texas and even the cleanest of homes/businesses will get an American or two. Complete my transaction and notice the cockroach has now crawled up the door frame of the front door. I push it open slowly as not to have fly on me and as I start to walk out one of the ladies that was handling food behind the counter swats at it and eventually knocks it down with her gloved hand. I walk to my car and place the food on the roof and start to open my door. I see the same woman go directly back to her task without changing the damn gloves she touched a cockroach with seconds earlier. I picked up the food and immediately dumped it all in the trash. While waiting, I watched a staff member prepping the kolaches at the work table, and his hygiene practices were completely unacceptable. He was actively using cheese as a makeshift prop to recline his cell phone so he could look at it while working. Cell phones are notoriously covered in germs, and to make matters worse, he was repeatedly touching his phone, and then handling the food without wearing any gloves. He was also talking directly over the open food without a mask or any barrier, and he was not wearing a hairnet. Cross-contamination like this is how people get sick. Watching someone handle raw dough, touch their personal phone, and rest electronics directly on the cheese used for customers' food is a massive red flag. I will be reporting this to the Montgomery County Health Services. This man probably takes his his phone to the restroom with him and then props it up against the cheese they serve their paying customers. SMH Also, the lady has been rude to me in the past. I was in my work (blue collar) uniform and she straight up laughed at me. Apparently women can't work in trades. Screw this place!

One donut is 1.99. I wanted to try them so I ordered a 3 pack and a cinnamon roll. They were good, the cinnamon roll was better, great texture and right about of sweetness. The donuts needed more glaze. It took way too long but the lady working the drive thru was nice.
