We waited for about 35 minutes till we got to the window. Once we got to the window it only took a moment to do the transaction and the teller was pleasant. The teller was also wearing gloves which was kind of nice. The experience I had with this bank was fine I don't know that I can recommend it because I only made a deposit at the drive-through for my mother in law But that transaction went smoothly and couldn't have asked for anything more except a shorter line. Lol

The only reason I'm writing this review because I distain the bank, hate the bank, wish the banks never existed, or at the very least I wish the banks helped the communities that they installed themselves in as opposed to siphon money off through overdraft fees, account fees returned item fees, etc. The transgression to the digression is relevant here because OCEAN BANK, more specifically Silvia is making me reevaluate my stance on the financial sector. She was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and handled the opening of my account and maintenance with my online banking so fast I didn't know she had started yet . I wouldn't waste my time to write the review, except for the fact that she took the time out of her to make sure that I needed in order to pay my bills was fixed. She took the time out to check and double check, then argue on my behalf with the corporate office I've never experienced anyone go so far out of their way to fix a problem that wasn't their own. A+, five stars, standing ovation ... I would never recommend a bank , that's not what I'm doing here. I'm recommending Miss Silvia and this just happens to be the branch that she works at.

Now this bank is charging you five dollar a month for a statement…read moreThey're paying you 0.10% on a money market interest while others banks are paying 1.5% to 2% So I went today to close my account 1) they try not to pay the interest-rate from the first to the 15 of the month because it's their policy, it's not right money market interest rate are compounded daily and paid once a month 2) They also tryed to charge me $10 for a cashiers check for closing my account which none of others banks does it Finally after arguing with them they paid the interest-rate and they didn't charge me for the cashier check I will never deal with this bank again and I do not recommend it
