My experience actually started last week. I usually use the branch in Rye Brook. I needed a notary…read moreonly to find this branch does not have one. So I proceeded to go to the 3 other local banks within walking distance. Not one bank had a notary. When I was a banker everyone on the platform needed to be a notary no idea why that changed. Knowing how difficult it is to find parking in Rye I was very hesitant to go. This time I called first to make sure they had a notary, to my surprise there were at minimum 2 and both were on the platform currently. Hopped into my car paid my $1.25 to park. No sooner did I walk into the branch I was acknowledged and strangely enough asked what I needed! My total wait time was less than 3 minutes. The representative that helped me was very professional and efficient. Before I left she took a moment to show me a few new features on the Chase app which was nice but things I will never use. So to those 1 star reviews sorry you had a bad experience and yes the parking does sour any trip to Rye

Bank of America is generally a 3-STAR bank on a good day. This location was a 2-STAR branch. It's…read moreoverall Functionality and Appeal was average for BofA (below average for Wells or Chase) 1) Bank of America Executives don't trust its employees to make ANY decisions based on banking relationships including waiving fees or releasing any hold on funds. Even when the decision is obvious to the operations or branch manager. 2) Bank of America might as well be an online bank. Every solution involves the client calling a toll free number for resolution. 3) The main purpose of the branches is to sell services and products and conduct cash transactions. That's it. 4) For example, the customer in front of me at the teller window was trying to cash his pay check without paying his overdrawn balance-he did not seem to care that he was overdrawn. BofA was pretty nice about it and he decided to take his paycheck to a check cashing service or so he said. If I was the ops manager, I would code his account to not allow him to have a negative balance in the future. This was just my observation and I am not saying that they did not do that. But I guess BofA likes that overdraft fee income (i.e. Junk Fees). I recommend both Wells and Chase. I love Wells and they treat me great-I have been with them since 2011. They were around the corner from my house in California. Chase is great too and more aggressive in lending, bank operations, etc. than Wells, which is very conservative. Both banks respect the customer relationship and both bank's employees are empowered to make decisions. I highly recommend Chase and Well Fargo. I do like BofA MasterCard as it allows me to get into some museums for free and they gave me an aggressive credit line.
