I cannot say enough wonderful things about Georgette Culotta, Customer Service Manager at State…read moreFarm. Back in November, I made the difficult decision to switch to another insurance company because I simply couldn't keep up with the constant premium increases. What I thought would be a cost-saving move quickly turned into a month-long experience of confusion, inconsistent information, and unnecessary stress. That experience made one thing crystal clear: exceptional customer service is priceless. I returned to State Farm without hesitation--and specifically because of Georgette. No one delivers the level of professionalism, grace, patience, and clarity that she does. Georgette is knowledgeable, calm, incredibly informative, and genuinely invested in helping her clients feel confident and supported. She takes the time to explain options clearly, answers questions thoroughly, and does it all with warmth and respect. In an industry where customer service can feel rushed or transactional, Georgette stands out as someone who truly cares. She turns what could be an overwhelming process into a smooth, reassuring experience. If you're considering State Farm--or thinking of leaving--do yourself a favor and talk to Georgette first. She is the reason loyalty still matters. Highly, wholeheartedly recommended.

The teller I had was Thomas and he was incredibly sweet and helpful. Admittedly I had some really silly questions and he just laughed and answered them and didn't make me feel nearly as stupid as I thought I'd come off. I left there with all my questions answered and everything I needed and so quickly! It was a great first impression of working with this bank and I'm happy this branch is close to home.

First they messed up on my "spousal supplement" after I signed and contacted them to reject thar line of coverage. They didn't even tell me underwriting rejected it without signing another for until I reached out and stated my policy premium went up and this charge showed up. Thanks Gabriel Galeano for that mess up. Then we got my policy going up from $1100 every 6 months to $1580 the next billing period for no reason but the excuse that there was a 25% increase statewide. Now I'm not a math genius, but that is NOT 25% increase. Then the next policy pay period my insurance went up AGAIN to $1890 FOR NO REASON!!!! I I asked for a rerate on it and told them I was NOT paying for this as I have NEVER GOTTEN INTO ANY ACCIDENTS. Spoke with Nathalie Lopez Arias who by the way was highly condescending and did advise me to go find insurance elsewhere. When I pointed out what she said, she tried to back track like she didn't tell a customer to leave STATE FARM, way to do business. Then I requested a new individual who I though was going to be better, Ana Villamizar, who promised to give me updates and follow up and assured me I had enough time before my insurance police expired to fix this, but she never did! Resulting in my police expiring and I switched over to a different insurance carrier who gave me the proper rates for FULL COVERAGE. THIS OFFICE WAS A NIGHMARE TO WORK WITH. everyone was incompetent. Beware.

The woman at the counter was friendly and patient to answer my questions. I found out that the there are two types of accounts - pass book or atm. the atms only work in the philippines, the passbook account - you can only make transactions at the counter at the LA Office or at the specific branch opened in the Philippines. If one opens an account (passbook or atm) in Los Angeles for a specific location in the Philippines, say Malolos, Bulacan, there is a processing fee of $60 plus a minimum opening deposit of $140. One does not automatically get an atm card when one opens an account with the PNBLA. I am considering opening an account through the LA office for a specific branch (location) in the Philippines.
