Had to delete my previous review: I was upset about my experience yesterday, but branch manager Kevin took the time today to acknowledge what happened and made it right. I appreciate the professionalism and accountability he showed when addressing the situation. read more

My mom and I walked into Citibank Kevin (Branch Manager) asked if he can help us, which he did. But then we walked over to a teller and he yelled across the branch to tell one of the teller why she wasn't at lunch. Very very unprofessional. I turned around and told him you don't yell at the employee like that especially with customers present and he totally ignored me. Someone needs some customer service training and how to speak to employees. read more

This bank is so fucking stupid. I deposited a check and it was suppose to go thru later that day or the next And I checked the next day and it said "our system is experiencing temporarily delays" so I called and tried to talk to someone and they couldn't help me bc I didn't have my account number (how can I get my account number if I can't log in !?!) So he hung up on me. They are so damn rude not to mention you can barley even understand them they have such heavy accents !!! And I called right back then they said my account is under investigation for God knows what. They will get back to me in 2 business days but I told them I'm going to call back tomorrow. This is such bullshit. I hate citibank ! I have wells Fargo as well AND I NEVER EVER had an issue before. 0 STARS !!!! If they don't accept my check im getting it back and going to wells Fargo! read more

Citibank - Business card - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Covina, California

Worst service when I tried to open up a business account and personal banking account. The Asian guy (don't know his name, he never told me) doesn't know what he's doing. I went down the street to Chase and was treated so much better. Run away from this bank. read more

Trying to get thru on the phone is a nightmare. Takes you to one prompt after another. Finally get thru and customer service rep knew very little as to the questions I had. Decided to go to the branch and teller was very nice. read more

Big shout out to this Citibank branch in Covina for literally getting me out of a sticky situation. My debit card was locked down even though I had authorized a transaction the day before. After dealing with multiple customer service idiots from overseas, they were all pretty useless! They refused to unlock my debit card even though I made them aware that the transaction was legit and they were rude about it! I decided to go into a branch for assistance. The employees at this Covina branch corrected the issue very quickly. While they could not unlock my card because of stupid ridiculous policies out of their control, I was able to withdraw the cash I needed to pay the merchant for the transaction in question. I absolutely hate the fact that the customer service is overseas because those people are extremely ignorant, not understanding and extremely irritating to deal with! It's very refreshing to be able to walk into a branch, talk to the employees, face-to-face, see that they understand your frustration and the eagerness they show to resolve the issue. This is why this particular branch will get five stars from me. I didn't get the young ladies name who helped me there at the branch, but I want to thank both her and her supervisor for their attentiveness and their willingness to get this issue resolved. They deserve to be recognized for a job. Well done. Thank you! read more

This bank is not good at all because of not cashing checks and needs serious help with customer service.

This bank is so ridiculous they do not cash checks ??? Unbelievable but true I don't know why they do that but if you have a check from Citibank you need to check the list of banks where you can cash your check bad business read more

Latest update is I still haven't gotten my money back. I was told over the phone to wait 90 days then I called again as it was about a week away from 90 days and they told me to appeal each transaction separately like that makes any difference and it would take me hours because I was unconscious for about two months and there was a lot of transactions. Do NOT BANK HERE read more

My comments are about the general offices of Citibank, not a particular branch. They refuse to read any information I have sent them over a 2.5 year dispute which started with a Fraud charge. In trying to clear this up, they made several mistakes but refuse to admit this. They have reported me as delinquent in paying my bill but I have NEVER missed a payment on money I actually owed. I will never use a Citibank credit card again. read more

Located in the heart of covina. You can always find parking and it's not very busy. There aren't too many citi branches around, mostly they're ATMs. I had to come to deposit checks for work so I got to get off a little early ^_^ read more

I love Citibank but this branch needs help desperately. The staff was unknowledgeable at best and had to call "corporate" for direction on how to wire funds internationally. I sat and watched the representative fumble for about 45 minutes (so far) while I waited patiently. I was told that I'd have to sign an acknowledgement that if the wire transfer did not work, the money may not be recoverable. What the hell is that? I don't normally complain and overall pleased with Citibank, just not this branch. I always cringe at the thought of having to walk in. This is not a million dollar wire transfer. It should not be this difficult. read more

I didn't get the clerk name, which I regretted. He was very helpful and he was always smiling and doing things that we needed. Everything was easy. read more

Terrible customer service! I was not greeted when I came in and ignored as were the other persons in line. There was only 1 teller but other employees were at their desks acting busy and ignoring customers.I will never go there again! The branch on Arrow Hwy Glendora is so much better! I am always greeted and helped right away. read more

I came here to deposit checks for my Dad. The bank is spacious and clean. I was surprised to see the same colored chairs as the Cerritos branch. I guess it's their theme. I was in and out of the bank within a couple of minutes. The teller was nice and friendly. This bank is located at old town West Covina, if they even call it that. It's composed of old looking buildings and have that old town feel. I love this area. There's also plenty of parking on the streets. read more

Would give this branch 0 stars if I could. I have an issues only a bank manager can help with it would be nice if this branch could pick up a phone so I can find out if the manager is in before driving down. Stop trying to transfer to me customer service that can't help me. read more

Citibank takes too long to return your money back but very fast to take your money. Been waiting for a credit check for over ten days already. Very upsetting read more

Citibank is a good bank but this particular branch needs help desperately. They seriously need to hire more staff! I went on a Saturday asking for some kind of document but there was no manager there at that time so I had to leave my information so someone can call me the following Monday. Its already Tuesday and NO ONE from the branch has contacted me yet. I tried calling them many times but there is no answer. I kept getting connected to the call center instead. This branch is actually a little far from my house so I have been thinking of just closing our account and opening another one at the bank closer to us. Maybe I will. This kind of service is a big NO NO for a bank who keeps your money for you. read more

Location, location, location. it's all about location. So thinking about this location we couldn't use it So that's a serious negative. my mom is handicapped And she needs a handicap spot that is close to the entrance of the bank. well apparently That was taken when we were there if there was a handicapped spot at all. So My mom threw cold around the building trying to find a closer space Couldn't find anything and finally she was frustrated and said I give up I can't get in this bank And we had some really important business to attend to And we couldn't do it. Because of that We had to wait several days until we could get to a Citibank. Now I already have personal negative feelings about Citibank because of my own bad experiences with them as a creditor. I was disputing some charges on a Citibank credit card and they sold the credit card to some other bank And stuff fell apart And I was getting charged the $400 Her 450 or whatever that they were saying I owed when I had it in dispute Anyway it was a huge mass I hate Citibank and this experience made it even worse. read more

Takes too long to get any service here. They seem to be understaffed. They only have a couple people working. Honestly I'd rather drive elsewhere. read more

I would give it their all stars but I can't. This location is the absolute worst. There was 11 people in line only two tellers the other tellers were just casually talking counting change laughing up a storm with other people and nobody else sitting behind the desk we're going to come and help either. I have had enough. Time to change Banks read more

I like citi bank, the give great service and amazing banking packages. But the reason I'm giving 3 stars is because this particular banking center reminds a lot of a wal mart checkout line.. There's always only two or three windows open with about 6 other ones closed. And it becomes a bother when it's lunch time and you're in a hurry and there's always one person sitting at their computer doing work but not helping customers. I hope this review helps. I will bank with Citi as long as possible but I do hope they open more windows. read more

They opened me an account right away and explained everything up front. Tellers are usually pretty friendly specifically Christian and Jamie. The atmosphere is welcoming and rates are great! Always offer promotional benefits and stay open a little late in case of traffic. I will continue banking with Citi as long as this branch is open! :) read more

I spoke to Curtis Wong, the branch manager, about dropping in to get Citibank's endorsement of an insurance claim check that had been made out to both myself and Citimortgage, the mortgage holder of my loan. While having to get an endorsement from the mortgagor, who paid no funds, seems ridiculous enough, Curtis informed me that I had to get an appointment and none was available that day. Curtis likened the bank's services to DMV. later called the branch at Diamond Bar, who was willing to accommodate me that same day. read more
