The prices are acceptable and the service, to be fair, was great. But my food had no real flavour and it didn't have that lightness that you get with something that tastes truly fresh. I can knock up a belter in a matter of minutes, yet somehow Earls have got it right and every other sandwich place hasn't. Maybe it's the bread they use or the fillings - I'm not sure. But if you're hungry at lunch and want something quick, tasty and filling go for the 'torpedo' roll. Not a lot else to add, other than if you're a sandwich shop, you'd do a lot worse than trying to copy this formula.
