This is a large, new Citgo gas station. This replaces an old, small gas station and was a complete tear-down and expansion of the old property.
There are an abundance of gas pumps and the parking area is large. The gas prices are reasonable and on point with other local gas stations. This sits on the corner of the main intersection in town, located just down from the ramp on the interstate. The parking lot has two entrances/exits to handle traffic at peak times. This is a smart design and setup, and can handle bulk customers if the area ever grows.
For such a large building, you would think the convenience store would be loaded with shelves and lots of merchandise. Unfortunately, you would think wrong. The store is immaculately clean (most likely because it's so new), but there isn't much merchandise compared to other convenience stores of this size. There are a few small shelves of snacks, a few small shelves of items that most general stores carry, and that's about it. They don't have all of the fresh, hot food that most larger convenience stores have.
There is an abundance of floor space that could be utilized to increase their stock. However, this may come later if they continue to grow. In the meantime, don't expect to find much inside, despite the big, fancy exterior.
Staff here are not too friendly. When you go to the register, general polite words (hello, thank you, etc.) don't seem to get any response or acknowledgement from the cashiers. To the contrary, they seem quite annoyed that you're interrupting their cell phone calls.
