The guy was downstairs a while, and when he finally came to talk to me, he had already completed the job. Never told me what was wrong or the cost. Whatever, we had no hot water, so it is what is it. But I asked him what the approximate cost would be and he said he didn't know. They would bill us. Great. A surprise bill to come. He had mentioned a service plan they offer that would have covered this, so I called and asked if I signed up for the service plan, would they retroactively cover the service. They agreed to retroactively cover the labor, but not the parts. So instead of $317.50, id owe $138.50. But a couple days later my card was charged the whole $317.50. I intended to call to figure it out, but decided to let bygones be bygones and just pay the full price and forgo the service plan. That was until I got a random $150 charge to my card that I had no idea what it was for. After calling, it was apparently the annual service charge ($329) minus the amount for the labor ($179) I was previously overcharged. No communication, no email with details, no phone call or text, just a charge to my card. The ONLY reason they got two stars is because they do come quickly if needed, but they have zero communication and I have no idea when or what I'll be charged. I'll keep the plan for the year but I'll be looking elsewhere for my oil and maintenance needs after it expires.

I was a customer for several years. The business was not offering or supplying any additional…read moreservices even after paying their premium oil prices. We left as a customer. Months later they call us and schedule a cleaning with us knowing we are no longer a customer and they ok'ed it. Two months later they cancel the cleaning the day before because you guessed it we are no longer a contract customer. The owner says they offer services to people... this is false. They only offer services to people that sign contracts for UNJUSTIFIABLY HIGH OIL PRICES! So why deal with their lackluster customer service and cooperation skills when they are even in the wrong? DO NOT! Call cash heating oil.com!
