I originally wanted to Columbia roast coffee, but the carafe was empty, so I opted for the Guatemalan blend. Gas station was pretty busy for 9:30am on a Friday, definitely shows the amount of business they are getting inside the little mini mart. I grabbed a little serving to tenders, which were hot and smelled great, sadly, they were a bit on the dry side for me, and a lot of breading. Coffee was good though. It's convenient and close by to my office, can't to wrong.

This Wawa location seriously needs to get its coffee situation together. This is the THIRD time…read morethis week I've come in during peak morning hours and they're out of coffee. How do you consistently run out of coffee at a Wawa--especially during the morning rush? If Colombian coffee has two canisters, why aren't you keeping one full as a backup while the other is being used? Peak times aren't a surprise. Management should know when the rush is coming and have enough coffee brewed and ready. This morning was especially bad. Colombian wasn't the only problem--Regular, Cuban, French Vanilla and several others were empty. Customers are coming in before work expecting to grab coffee and go, not stand around waiting for somebody to brew it. Once is understandable. Three times in one week is a management and preparation problem. I'm done giving this location chances. I won't be coming back. They just can't seem to get something as basic as having coffee ready during the morning rush right.

Every great night out begins with a plan…read more Ours started with visions of a nice dinner before a show in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Something relaxed. Maybe a cocktail. Maybe a quiet table where you pretend to read the menu carefully but you already know you're ordering the steak. And then life did what life does. Somewhere between the clock moving faster than expected and the realization that traffic had its own agenda, our romantic dinner plans took a dramatic turn straight into the parking lot of Wawa. Nothing says pre-theater romance quite like ordering dinner at a gas station touchscreen. But here's the thing about Wawa. They don't just survive this situation. They thrive in it. We both went with quesadillas. I ordered the chicken quesadilla with fajita vegetables, while my wife went with the buffalo chicken version. We split a bag of chips and then headed over to what can only be described as the soft drink fountain of magic. If you know, you know. I built a completely unnecessary but extremely satisfying blend of lemonades that probably shouldn't work together but somehow does. And honestly? The food was good. Not "good for a gas station." Just good. The chicken quesadilla had plenty of filling, the fajita vegetables actually tasted like vegetables and not an afterthought, and my wife's buffalo chicken version had a nice kick that kept things interesting. Halfway through the meal we both kind of looked at each other with the same realization. This was supposed to be the quick backup plan. Instead it turned into a perfectly respectable dinner. Let's be clear. If you're planning a romantic night out, Wawa probably isn't the place you're making reservations. But when life reroutes your evening and you need something fast, easy, and surprisingly solid, this place delivers every time. So while our evening may not have started with candlelight and linen napkins, it did start with a pretty satisfying quesadilla and a dangerously customizable lemonade situation. And honestly, that's not a bad way to begin a night either. Four stars.

I usually get gas at those Shell gas station. It's nice that they have Mr. Splash here as an option…read morefor the car wash and auto detailing. It's convenient. We recently got a matte finish SUV and love the look. When we bought the car, they told me I should not do regular drive-through car washes as the bristles can be tough on the matte finish. And definitely do not get any wax finish as that would mess up the finish as well. Who knew having a matte finish vehicle would be so high maintenance. Lol. Funny enough, I haven't gotten a car wash since buying the car in March and it isn't that dirty. Honest. Finally decided to get a car wash today. My husband borrowed my car for Naples and lots of bugs on the front of the car. Yuck. Went on a Saturday and Pamela was very helpful and answered a lot of questions regarding the different car wash and detailed packages, along with membership options. There are tons of options and the pricing is a bit confusing, but Pamela was great explaining everything. She was very friendly and patient. I really appreciated that. She clarified that the drive thru would be safe for my car since they use silicone bristles, and not the harsh bristles. In the end, I ended up getting the "Best Drive Thru Plus SUV" option for $24.99 and and additional $15.99 for "Hand Wash". She offered a "Pam Special" and threw in a vacuum option too. So nice. Total came out to $40.98 and I tipped them cash. Pam, Jeremiah and Yeshon worked together to vacuum, wash and hand dry my car. They had a small plastic picnic table next the drive thru entrance where you can sit and wait. They vacuumed the car first, then pulled it up to the entrance of the drive thru and did a pre-wash before putting it in drive thru wash. Once the car came out of drive thru, they pulled it up to the other side where they detail or hand dry the car. I went to that side and they had bench seating where you can wait for them to finish. The guys completed the hand drying part while Pamela started on another car. I put a timer on and the whole experience took between 30-40 minutes. Really good on timing! $41 was not a bad price for everything and they did a great job. I was interested in the Mr. Splash membership options too but Pamela wasn't 100% on those options so I'll have to come back and discuss with the manager on duty to see if that is worth it. Apparently you pay the monthly membership fee and get unlimited car washes. With my hand drying option for the matte finish, I would have to add $15 each time. Seems like fair pricing depending on how much you really need to wash your car. There is also a vacuum station area too in front of the gas station, this is included in your car wash.
