This is defined as the cheapest price in the area. The nice thing about this place is the price is the same for both cash and credit so you can use that credit card and get those points or cash back while enjoying the lowest possible price. Mark this location as a spot to stop at on your way back to Philly and save your self 50 cents a gallon (compared to city prices)

However, when I haven't had a chance to get gas elsewhere in the state and am in a bind, I'll stop at this LukOil above any of the other stations along this strip. All of their prices, from what I've observed in the last year of driving this road daily, are consistent. So you're not getting a better deal by stopping at LukOil over the Exxon. You will often get a friendlier attendant, though. The lot here is also bigger than at other stations, so you won't feel squished in with the other cars. This LukOil is best to visit when you're headed toward the city. If, like me, you merge from the Route 130 side, you'll need to get that blinker on and haul over three lanes quickly to not miss the station.

So be ready - roll up to an empty spot, roll down your window, release your gas tank latch and find your credit card and turn off your car all within 10 seconds. Very conveniently located between two PATCO train stations. Decent gas prices, nice friendly staff. Clean lot and super easy access in and out of Haddon Ave. The downside is that they do sometimes close early, by 7 PM, so if you are coming home from work, you might not get there in time.

I'll make the stop when I'm on my way home from the Haddonfield area and need gas. It's located on the ever-busy Haddon Avenue, but I've never had issues accessing the station. Attendants are always really nice and efficient, though if you pay with a credit card, expect them to haul off with your plastic to swipe it inside. They'll have you sign a receipt, which I'm not used to at gas stations, but hey, whatever works. (Or you could just pay with cash.) Despite being a Sunoco (superior reputation), prices tend to be on-par with the Valero and Citgo stations down the road. As this is indeed Yelp, you should also note that the high-quality sandwich-maker Bread Board Plus (love love love) is adjacent to this gas station. An added incentive to stop here!

This takes…read moreme to one of the many "Speedway" locations as this particular one happens to be in Pennsauken, NJ which is just a couple minutes east of Camden. What makes this location simple is that it is directly off of Route 30 (Admiral Wilson Blvd) which made getting to quite a simple process; even with me being unfamiliar with the area. I also wanted to add that I came here at night (around 8:15pm) as I needed fuel before heading back north to the Jersey City area (which was about a 90 minute drive). I will say to be very cautious when parking at one of the fuel pumps as this was not a very well-lit service station. I would also advise to wait until one of the staff members approaches your vehicle to pump your fuel (as New Jersey law prohibits customers from pumping their own gas, requiring an attendant to do it for them). The inside in your basic typical no-frills convenient store with snacks, beverages, motor oil, and the basic essentials to get you on your way. Definitely the polar opposite of a Wawa. This store could use a little bit of tender loving care but nonetheless, it gets the job done. At least the good news is that gas was a reasonable $2.99/gallon for regular (87) unleaded. Many other fuel stations are around that same price. With that said and done, I am giving the "Speedway" in Pennsauken, NJ just an average three-star rating.

The service station is Metro ServiceCenter, which is at the Sunoco station. Anyway, every time I have gone here I am thoroughly impressed. They are such kind, hard working, honest people. Every person is always willling to help. My fiance and I have been there about 5 times now with various issues, from flat tires, to alternator problems, to engine noise. Each time the issue was taken care of within an hour or two (believe it or not). They give you options if it is something that is a more complex issue too. My fiance's truck needed a new alternator and they offered to order him a new one, or a refurbished one at a lower price. The time we came in with a flat tire they fixed it immediately and we were on our way within minutes. I even went once to get gas and was out of washer fluid so they got me fluid because my windshield was a mess (I commute to school and work). Today I dropped of my care at 8:15am because my car was making a terrible grinding/rattling sound when I accelerated. I was worried about the transmission or engine. They called at 8:45am and it was DONE. My engine's oil cap was loose and my oil was low. What a relief! They checked out everything else and it was fine. No pressure to get anything else done and they still checked over everything and drove it around to make sure the noise was gone. It is a rare find to discover an honest group of individuals that do not take advantage of you. Will not go anywhere else anymore!
