Royal Farms is an amazing regional chain. If you're not familiar, the highlights are clean service…read morestations, friendly staff, and amazing food. Yes... You read that correctly... Amazing food. Obviously I am comparing this to other service stations, not sit down restaurants, but you can't beat Royal Farms for grab and go food. The fried chicken is amazing in all forms. You can get fried chicken boxes, fried chicken sandwiches/subs, fried chicken breakfast items, etc. They also do a good job with deli meat sandwiches and egg breakfast sandwiches. Otherwise it's a pretty standard convenience store with the usual service station grab and go items. They have a good selection of chips and drinks. This particular location is very spacious and has everything you could expect on the shelves. As most Royal Farms in the area, it also has Krispy Kreme donuts that are stocked daily. The coffee is pretty good for a service station, and they have plenty of fountain drinks and iced drinks as well.

Royal Farms should be embarrassed to call this place a gas station. I tried two different…read morepumps--neither worked. The first just sat dead, completely unresponsive. The second looked functional until I picked up the handle, which was cracked, filthy, and completely broken. No warning signs, no out-of-order tags, just a waste of time and a clear sign no one is maintaining this place. Absolutely pathetic.

My morning had not gone well at 7-11, so over to Royal Farms across the street I went. Now. Their coffee machine was not working as well. The difference here is that Alvin sprang into action as soon as the customer made him aware of what was wrong. The machine had become clogged and with a few deft jabs and mini cleaning it was good to go. I also observed him later completing cleaning up tasks. Angela is the super dandy cashier. Everyone was in and out in a timely fashion and with a smile and any bags or whatnot readily provided. In short, they did their jobs not adequately but very well, they represented and restored my faith in convenience stores. My day now looks brighter because of their great customer service skills.

I have had a few times when it was cold and less than tender, but that is rare. The chicken slider is a good price and includes a whole chicken tender. The gas prices here are very good for Baltimore city and it is easy to get on and off from I95. It is not easy to make a left toward the city during rush hour from this store. I find the staff to be friendly and helpful. They often have long lines in the AM, but they go fast.

If you care about your vehicle, I would strongly recommend taking it somewhere else…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but I don't want someone else to have the same experience I did. This was my first visit to the Canton location. As soon as I arrived, I was encouraged to sign up for a membership. I explained that I was a first-time customer and simply wanted the highest-level service available for a walk-in, non-member. I understood that a full detail required an appointment, so I purchased their premium same-day package for my Porsche Macan. After waiting approximately 1.5 hours, my vehicle was returned with all four wheels still visibly dirty. They weren't just imperfect--they appeared to have been completely missed. I pointed this out before leaving, and the employee immediately grabbed a towel and cleaning solution to wipe them down himself. That alone told me the vehicle should never have been presented as "finished." It didn't stop there. When I got inside the vehicle, I found new smudges on the center console, driver-side trim, and interior surfaces that weren't there when I dropped the car off. Somehow, my vehicle came back looking dirtier than when I arrived. Because I had already spent 90 minutes waiting and had lost confidence in the quality of the work, I declined having them redo it. Instead, I drove to a professional detail shop and paid another $85 to have the exterior and interior corrected. I contacted customer service hoping they would stand behind their work. Instead, I received scripted responses stating that they had reviewed camera footage and that the service had been "completed according to the process." That explanation doesn't match what actually happened. Their own employee acknowledged the missed wheels by cleaning them after I pointed them out. I asked for a refund, a service credit, or any reasonable accommodation. Every request was denied. The only solution they offered was for me to bring the vehicle back, even after I explained that I had already paid another business to fix the issues. By the time everything was resolved, what should have been a 90-minute premium wash had cost me nearly four hours of my day and an additional $85. Congratulations on your growth and expansion, but based on my experience at the Brewers Hill/Canton location, the quality of the service and the customer support did not match the reputation of the brand. If you own a vehicle that you genuinely care about, I would recommend choosing a professional detailer instead.
