I had the same experience as a couple of other people who have left reviews. Greg is a nice guy,…read moreand I really like him personally, which is why I honestly didn't want to have to write this review. However, I feel like my job was relatively small and simply wasn't a high priority. I was originally told the job would take about 4-5 days, but it ended up taking closer to three months. Greg told me they would start on June 22, but that didn't happen. I believe they actually started the work around July 28 and finally finished on August 24. There were several times when the guys were supposed to show up in the morning, but they wouldn't arrive until the afternoon, would only work for part of the day, or wouldn't show up at all. Greg was always very nice and had an explanation, but the delays became frustrating. Unfortunately, after the job was completed and I had made the final payment, I noticed there was a gap underneath my gate where the turf did not cover the ground. I first contacted Greg about it on August 27, and a month later, I'm still trying to get it fixed. I've attached a picture so you can see the issue. Greg told me he doesn't have any extra turf left to fill the gap, but said he would come back and replace the bricks that were there previously. I'm still waiting to see if that happens. Overall, Greg is a nice person and I believe he means well, but based on my experience, I would recommend making sure you have a clear timeline before hiring them. If you have a larger project, you may have a different experience, but if you have a smaller job, I would personally consider getting another company to do it. I'll update this review if and when the gap is finally fixed. I guess all I had to do was post this review because Greg came by and fixed it today so I added a star to my review.

Green Planet Landscaping has earned a Five-Star rating for their installation of the artificial…read morelawn in our father's front yard. The natural grass was hard to maintain, since the sprinklers were not functioning properly, but the artificial lawn has vastly improved the curb appeal of our father's property. Without increasing estimated costs, Green Planet Landscaping surprised us with an additional amenity that actually rectified an issue raised by the local HOA. Thus, we are 110 percent satisfied with their service. Inasmuch as I live several hours away from Brentwood and Discovery Bay, I did not have the pleasure of meeting Alan in person. However, our communications were very effective and I am delighted to have completed this task as our father's Power-of-Attorney.

After living in our home for a year, it was time to redesign our backyard. I submitted a price quote request on Yelp and received a few responses to schedule a consultation. After meeting with other landscape companies, my choice was to go with Alan at Green Planet Landscape. It wasn't just about the price quote, but Alan's thoughtful ideas and recommendation made us trust him even more with the project. He would make sure our backyard would look amazing and presentable. He drew a sketch design for us to submit to the HOA. After we got an approval from the HOA for the project, Alan scheduled us within a few days. Alan first introduced me to Angel to have him do a walkthrough around the backyard. We had them install stone walls, pavers, artificial turf, and planter beds. The project lasted about 3 days and they did a fantastic job on transforming our backyard. My wife is so in love with plants and was very happy they planted her plants in the soil. Our dogs were so excited and love playing on the turf. I would highly recommend Green Planet Landscape. We finally are comfortable to contact them in the near future.

The pricing was great and I eventually decided to hire Ve. From day 1 Ve showed up with 4 guys and worked hard every day. Ve estimated 6 weeks to complete the project (big project - 5000 sq ft) and it took 5.5 weeks. Mind you this was all dirt before Ve took it in. One of my biggest concerns was without access to the back yard, all materials would have to be transported through my living room. I do not have a back gate. BDC Landscape came out and responded to my inquiry very quickly and were able to provide an estimate within 1 day. We did not have a design in place, however, the team was able to put together a simple, yet effective design of what my wife and I had envisioned. What was once just dirt, soon became a beautiful mix of pavers, artificial grass, lighting and retaining wall.  The team worked quickly and efficiently and made sure to go over every detail to ensure it was to our liking. Andy was very knowledgeable and made sure our plan came to life. We now have a large paver area and concrete pad which fit our firepit and backyard furniture. Our kids now have a large area to grow into and play in for years to come.  BDC Landscape was able to complete my backyard in such a quick turnaround that they were able to accomodate the front of the house as well. They added artifical grass, concrete steps and a concrete path for our trash bins. I am so happy with their work and how everything turned out, I can't say enough good things about BDC Landscape. They truly completed the final step of our forever home! I will definitely be reaching out for any future projects!

We are totally blown away with the work they did and only wish we had found Klaus sooner. Our project included: pavers, pergola, installing sod, new fence, mulch, decomposed granite, irrigation, planting trees, leveling our backyard The guys (Benjamin, Jose, and Rogelio) were consistently at our house everyday, and if there was any change in schedule, Klaus very clearly communicated with us. We also appreciated the covid precautions taken by always wearing masks and socially distancing with us. Overall the guys were very polite, hard working, and kind. We felt completely comfortable having them at our house for 6 weeks. We'll be back to finish our driveway and looking forward to working with Klaus, Benjamin, Jose and Rogelio again.
