The store is definitely focused on having body-safe items at a variety of price points. From body-safe generic options all the way to your expensive, name brand stuff, Kinx has an impressively wide selection alongside out-of-box display copies so you can hold and touch before buying. They have a small BDSM selection. It'll mostly be the mass-produced stuff (not artisan), but it hits the majority of the usual kink suspects and at a pretty approachable price point. The owner is super friendly (and the place has a cute little doggo too - that the owner is happy to cage up if you aren't okay with them), and they're super knowledgeable too. I saw multiple couples getting advice from the owner including one looking for a harness and another looking for a lube for sensitive skin. There IS a lingerie section; it's definitely not the priority in the store, but there are a few pieces for all types of bodies (including peen owners) from small sizes to plus sizes. There are some sassy sex-positive crop tops, too, if you're not going for lacey underthings. Plus, they have a pretty decent book selection! In years past when I'd been to VS they've been very welcoming and helpful. This time I walked through the door and heard a small "hello" from the side. I haven't been measured in a while so I went to the fitting room and waited for a few minutes, when no one came out I went back out to the two associates by the doors and asked if I could be fitted. They looked at each other and one finally said, "I'll help you." She took me to the room measured me, told me my size, and brought me one bra. I tried it on, she checked and said it fit and she was gone. Previously when I'd been they give you a box of all different styles in your size to try. Apparently this is not the protocol anymore. I went back out and selected my items and went to check out. The lady at the checkout counter took my items and scanned asking me how many of each item I bought. She threw them in a bag with no tissue paper while I looked at the associate next to her carefully wrap her customers items in tissue paper and present a beautiful bag. Mine were thrown in the bag like she couldnt have cared less. All in all - I don't know if I had an off day at this location but my consensus is- they are not helpful, not happy, and overall make you feel like an inconvenience for shopping there.

I was wrong! I was greeted by Erika who asked me a few questions about my habits and what I was looking for, and immediately got to work on finding new bras that I would be comfortable in and happy with. She helped me find a proper fit and was extremely professional and attentive while I was in the shop for about an hour. I left there so happy with my new bras and the service/experience I had there.
