In a store of this type the atmosphere is incredibly important and it was immediately made hostile within less than a minute of entering. We had found products that we had every intention of purchasing but because of this decided another store would be better. On a positive note the store manager Ashley was incredibly nice and helpful, it's a shame our experience was ruined because my wife has been a repeat customer of this store for over 5 years and was upset by these comments. I usually visit Dillard's once a year for holiday dresses first checking the inventory online. This time I had an unplanned Dillard's visit while used it as a shortcut to the mall. MERCHANDISE: The store has a vast inventory. The men's clothing and shoe section is especially stylish. There are a lot of brown toned garments and shoes perfect for fall. The shoe section indicated deals from $99 to $139. That seems like a great value for high-quality shoes. MY FINDS: I didn't plan to make any purchases since I was just passing through the store. Instead I found Origins skincare line. It's currently hard to find it in stores due to major beauty retailers pulling it from their shelves. I was able to purchase a gift set. It's my preferred skincare, so I'm happy to find another retailer that carries it for future purchase. SERVICE: The service was very nice. Associates were friendly and smiling. This experience indicated that the service tremendously improved over the years. I look forward to my next visits to Dillard's. I'll be back soon to experience and purchase more Origins products.

Not only did the associate stay on her phone when I came in the shop and while I was there, she never once offered to measure me (which they always offer to measure you for bra size), she was clearly disinterested in helping me at all. Obviously people have had different experiences than I did at this store, and maybe this associate just didn't want to be at work that day, but the customer service was abysmal. I will go to Nordstroms from now on for my intimate apparel.

In fact, I needed a lot of help. VS pink has new sizing on their sports bras and what a headache. She spent a few minutes helping me choose the right one/size despite me being a pain and not settling the size issue once and for all by just going into the fitting room and trying it on. I bothered her a couple more times about other items, and she even let me in on some promotions I didn't know about -- AWESOME. Other employees were friendly during the checkout process as well.
