An adult novelty store in an older part of Dayton. Despite the outside appearances of the strip mall (and the fact that it's located next to a Dollar Tree), the inside of Cirilla's is pretty nice. There's lot of natural lighting (no creepy "blacked out" windows here), and the rest of the store uses nice daylight LED bulbs to make the store look clean and presentable. All of the items have a specific spot, and most of the shelves are of the glass variety for a nice visual appeal. The lingerie racks are a little too close for comfortable navigating that section of the store, but otherwise, Cirilla's feels like a nice, comfortable place to shop. Not like your terrible stereotypical adult shop. (They even have a nice dressing room here!) So what does this adult shop sell? When you walk in, you'll be met with a large section of "stripper heels" and lingerie. The store has the lingerie nicely organized by type and color and size, and there's even a small plus-size lingerie section. The lingerie section dominates a good 1/3 of the store. To your right, you'll find a small adult DVD and adult book section. Media is clearly not the focus of Cirilla's, and very little store space is dedicated to it. The back-side of the store offers your adult toys/insertables as well as a bachelorette/bachelor party section. The store sells penis toys (rings and sleeves) in addition to toys traditionally designed for women (vibes and insertables). This isn't your typical "sleezy" crap. While you can still find your usual $20-or-less toys here, there's a good chunk of decent-quality stuff including OhMiBod, Fleshlight, Evolved Novelties, B-Vibe, We-Vibe, and more. You can still find pretty good silicone stuff here as well - the store clearly chooses to lean towards stocking body-safe and silicone items instead of flushing the shelves with junk. A couple manufacturers, including Evolved and B-Vibe, even have their own demo items out for touching before purchasing. There are also a few shelves of lubricant and massage oil - though System JO offerings dominated the lube shelves. They also sell condoms - though I didn't see any dental dams or gloves (though it's possible I missed them). When I came, the staff, while friendly, was not entirely knowledgable about the items that they sold. Her helpfulness and friendliness, though, especially in this type of store, was very welcome. So while Cirilla's isn't quite on the level of a lot of high-end, sex-positive adult stores, it's definitely above-average and a comfortable place to shop. Great selection of toys and clothes for pretty decent prices, however the attendant made our experience quite uncomfortable to say the least. First she kept asking my husband and i for ID because she said a boy fooled her once before ( we dont have baby faces at all) i didnt expect to be id'ed at the sex shop so i had to pull up a picture of my 21st birthday. Then she just kept on talking to herself the whole time which kind of threw us for a loop as were checking out shes tells me she cant sell me the stuff because she needs id to verify that the card is mine i had to pull up my bank account so she would believe me.
