In the first section that you enter stands a whole host of tall glass cabinets, holding a number of gorgeous costume and antique jewellery items, medallions coins and other paranphenalia. As you move slowly through to the back, where begins the labyrinth, the rooms and corridors all fully packed with trinkets become apparent. Larger items are stacked -from boating bits, fire place accessories, old lamps, candle stands and more - throughout the space. There are rooms full of books and photographs, pictures and frames. Rooms full of furniture, some of which was utterly divine, some of which was ridiculously cheap. Rooms with clothing, rooms with knick-knacks, treasure boxes and more than I could possibly investigate as we were pushed on time during my visit. I wanted to delve further in, but alas my Dad was getting antsy and bored (no doubt hungry for lunch!), so we didn't get to explore the full maze of delights. It truly felt like I could just keep wandering further in, ever lost in a delightful old building, forever gazing at the antiquities and curiosities. I need to come back here, soon.

This truly hidden gem is an absolute must for vintage fans in Gloucestershire. Over Christmas I had…read morethe pleasure of visiting home few a week or so and on my final day in the 'shire my Dad and his girlfriend took me to Cirencester for a brief shop before catching my train. We had a browse around quite a few gorgeous indie shops and had planned to rendezvous in a near by coffe shop, as my Dad had gone to look in some less feminine stores. En route to our meeting point he discovered She Unique and insisted on going via the shop before we stopped for coffee and cake. I can't tell you how glad I was that we did so. Although it's about the size of a wardrobe it is absolutely filled to brim with delights. The window display alone is enough to draw one in, with all manner of sparkling pearls and couture style shoes, but once inside you can get a sense of the true vintage items that await you. I particularly fell for one item, a gorgeous hand-made 1920s vintage wedding dress. Oh my goodness it was delightful, utterly beautiful and an absolute steal at £70. Amongst other gorgeous finds were a number of different beautiful shoes, dresses, skirts, quirky playing cards, boxes of jewellery and fascinators and more than I could possibly remember or type. The proprietor was delightful and had plenty of history to tell about the various items that I coveted. She informed me that she is affiliated with the local re-enactment society as well and there's quite a lot happening on the vintage scene in good old Cirencester. If you've yet to discover this gorgeous shop yourself, I suggest you take a weekend to wander around the gorgeous streets of Ciren, and make a stop off here for something out of the ordinary, antique and beautiful.

I didn't much fancy Cheltenham (we'd done it recently) and Gloucester is really naff. Elaine suggested Ciren, since there are loads of vintage and boutique shops to visit -- I was all over that. This was one of the last places we visited, after grabbing a light bite nearby, and I absolutely loved the selection. The interior had tons of great options on show -- in particular we were tempted by an amazing turquoise top -- but it wasn't just beautiful clothing. (Which suited both of us, so the age range would suit 25-60, in my opinion. Not so much of an "age" as timelessly beautiful.) If you're into unique, quirky handbags -- it's a go. If you want to update your wardrobe -- it's a must. There was a lot of jewellery, accessories, shoes, and more to choose from too. Love this place! Must go back when I'm home next.

My Dad and his girlfriend had taken me to do a spot of shopping as the sales were on and this was one of the first places we visited. On entering you can tell that it's a bit of a high fashion kind of place, with expensive labels and an array of posh hats on offer. The sale prices were even a little higher than I could stretch to, with most garments coming in around forty pounds or so, but the quality was certainly evident. In my opinion the items there catered to a slightly more mature lady, but then perhaps that's just my taste! The arrangement was a bit hit and miss, with no apparent outfit building or colour matching, but sale garments rarely are organised. All in all a lovely shop with friendly staff and gorgeous but expensive things!

Awful Rude Service I had seen the web site for this shop and…read morewas looking forward to visiting it when on holiday in Cirencester. At first, it looked good, though the clothes were a bit staid. Then I found a top to try on and was deliberating on whether I would buy. Then the assistant (possibly the owner) came to ask what I thought of it. I said it fitted well but I was wondering about the colour when she grabbed it and said "I can tell you now - it is going to my other shop". The phone had rung a few minutes before and I gather that someone in her other shop wanted the top in the size I was trying. I was so dumbstruck at her rudeness that I just left without saying anything. No wonder I was the only person in the shop if that is how she treats potential customers

Avoid on Saturdays as it does get very busy.
