She was rude and short with him and even more so with me. Her dismissive and flippant attitude added to her obvious anger which created a cloud of negativity across the entire store. She didn't take more than a single second to look at the box of things I brought, let alone even INSIDE the box. She didn't say hello, she didn't say goodbye, she didn't even look at me. She just huffed and puffed her way from her computer, told the gentleman who was about to help me, "I'mma deal with this - make it quicker." Pushed him out of the way. Glanced at the box. Muttered something close to, "Nerp, we ain't don't not be not wantin nones of dis na-ah hrmph." Then huffed and puffed her way back to the computer. At least the gentleman said, "Thanks for stopping by!" with a smile. I will never return. I suggest no one else does either.

I'd been to several 'mall' jewelry stores and couldn't find what I was looking for (so many lab-created stones these days). As it went, this place had it. And it was discounted to boot.** The coolest thing here, though, is the people. They are real. They understand people like me -- and people who are there seeking loans on personal goods. A man came in during my visit and wanted to extend his loan, and they worked with him, without making him feel like a loser. ~ Pawning something usually means one is desperate for money. Jessica and Patricia were who I was dealing with. I made the purchase with my credit card. Patricia asked to see my ID before running the card. I said sure, happy that you make sure someone else isn't spending my money. She checked my state issued drivers license with my photo and name on it which matches the card. Said ok great. Then she ran my card and put the charge on it. Then she said ok, before you sign I need to write down your drivers license number and your date of birth on paper. I said what for? She said it was company policy. I told them they didn't need to write down my drivers license number or date of birth, I don't need to give that information. They hassled me for a good while. I have never faced this situation at any pawn shop out of hundreds I've been to and any store in general anywhere. They already checked my ID to verify I was card owner, I was about to sign the receipt with my signature. They said we aren't selling you the item then. I said fine. Both of them including manager Jessica didn't know how to void the transaction. I waited for over 20 minutes for them to figure it out. There's no reason they needed that information. Jessica was nice, just blindly following a stupid invasive policy. Patricia was snooty about me not being ok with giving them my private information that I am not required to give to make a purchase. I won't be coming back here again. Advise others not to as well. Your identity and personal information is at risk by their unnecessary invasive policies.
