Update tried to get an email address would not givie one. Was directed to individual who acted concerened and assured me she would get right back to me pronto never happened. Had to file with the Attorney General my God theese people don't like to give you your $ back this is without a doubt the bottom of the barrel when it comes to pawn shops and arrogant as well as rude. I bought a pellet rifle from your store in Webste on Nasa Parkwayfor my son. Not only was I chargeded what they cost new[with a scope ]but it would not shoot correctly. To tpo it off I thrarted a person from stealing a good bit of tools.As an Exspert marksan and former wepons specialist I tried three seperate scopes to see if it could be corrected but it did not. I tried to take it back and was offered $40,00 after paying 108. for it or A STORE CREDIT He had nothing I wanted and the other air rifle was priced as new as well and a cheap modle. The idea of store credit would have left me paying top dollor for somethin that was bought very cheap. I have dealt with a lot of pawn shops and if something did not work as it shoud I was reimbusred. As it stands I have repaired the air rifle but the asst manager was cocky rude and what are you going to do about. I tried to give him five days and still so what I detest arrogance and know when buying something used you take a chamce. But in Texas there is there is a law called reasonable exspectaion it deals with an item bought and ensures it works withn the guidelines according to the product. So as is has a clauss to protect the comcumer. The Asst. manager has little regard for what this will bring to light and someone will be the scapegoat, I filed with Gregg Abbot the Tx attoreny general,posted an ad in the Galveston Daily news. As well 8 seperate blogs dealing with stores of all kind. I also contacted the OCCC which regulates them dealings. This is the 1st time this type of thing has happened to me and as a Former Green Beret and POW the publicity alone will be severe when it comes to future buiseness. All I wanted was a refund what I got was a smart ass telling me so what. I could stop this and yesterday I tried once again to reason with him and the responce was I will get paid either way. Good thing for me I have relatives who are in law enforcement in Pasedena which is there home base. This is by no means a threat as far as relatives go but I cannot control what an individual will do on my behalf. The weapon works fine now but I intend on taking them to small claims cout he will have to be there as well as the poor clerk and a employee from the company to represent there interest. It is a shame all this could have been avoided. And I intend to bring a witness who has 30+ yrs. in the buiseness. Just because this guy got taken does not give him the right to put it on me it should have been writen off. tried to be decent and honorable but that failed with this charecter. Even took him a target to let him see for himself and a policeman was there while I tried to sight it in. Yesterday I took a 1.5" strip of Gortex took 2 shots for me to sight the rifle in and put a dozen or so in the size of a quarter after I[ repaired the weapon] the money is only a fraction of the issue it is a matter of principal and common decency plus my agrigvation and time. I am going to get my son a rifle but this time it will be new. All my family are Government Military or law enforcement And on the slight chance I do lose I still win for it will cost a great deal more going this route than it would had they done the right thing in the 1st. place.
