I was driving along the latter and turned right into the Esso gas station. This Circle K is a part of it. I had no problem finding a parking spot in front of the store. I backed my car into an available spot and walked in. You see a Tim Hortons on the left when you walk in. It was doing steady business at around 8 pm. The Froster selection was decent. I was able to choose from eight flavours. I ultimately got a small orange Crush Lite and Mountain Dew Spark Froster. The Polar Pop machine also had an impressive assortment of flavours. It's a good store for beverages, including bottled and canned ones. I also got a package of peanuts. Free items make me happy. I had a nice man at the counter who helped me scan my coupons. Done! I thanked him and happily walked to my car with my freebies. I don't hang out in this area as much as I would like. This Circle K is a good one. (391)

I needed to pick up a few grocery items, so dropping by Food World Supermarket afterwards was perfect. This building used to Rose Garden Banquet and Convention. I'm guessing that due to the pandemic, this business suffered and shut down. There is plenty of parking in front and around this supermarket. I backed into a spot and walked in. The doors automatically open, which is wonderful. This supermarket is located across from Burger King. I often frequent it when I crave a flame-broiled burger. Both are in the same plaza as Wok of Asia. It's clean and cheerful when you first walk in. You see cases of pop and sparking water. The produce section then greets you. I needed avocados and celery. Prices are either comparable to what you see at grocery stores like No Frills, but the quality is better. Both produce items that I grabbed were fresh and in great condition. This grocery store carries halal items. It features a lot of South Asian products, such as Parle-G and paratha. You also see ramen and Ribena, both of which made me love shopping at this store even more. I saw everything from custard to paneer. It does sell corned beef in cans and rose water in glass bottles. Cool! The meat section is impressive. It's huge with every cut of meat that you can possibly think of. You can get food to go. There's a stall within the supermarket where you can get pizza, shawarma, and more. I paid for my produce. The woman at the checkout was extremely pleasant and nice. I paid with my debit card. This store gives you a plastic bag. I thanked her and headed to the exit. Just before you exit, there's a stall that sells desserts, ice cream, drinks, and more. I asked the woman behind the counter whether their drinks have added sugar. They don't. The store goes with the natural sweetness of their fruit or veggies. I wanted to get the sugar cane and coconut hydrating beverage. She had run out of coconut, so I got a large sugar cane drink. As she made my drink, I looked at the desserts display. There were individual portions of chocolate mousse cake and sponge cakes. You can also get milkshakes, ice cream, and more. She asked whether I wanted ice in my sugar cane drink. I said as much as the cup could fit the ice. It was perfect on a hot day. I asked the nice woman how long this supermarket has been open for. It opened on May 18th. I paid with my debit card. Done! I thanked the woman and left with my groceries and drink. The sugarcane was indeed the real deal. It was naturally sweet and yummy. I was happy with my drink. It was nice consuming it as I drove home. Whenever I was in the area to grab some dinner, there was never a supermarket close by to get a few grocery items. I did something ridiculous today. I brought my car in to get winter tires. Normally, I remember to detach my house keys from my car key fob. I forgot. I got a shuttle home and realized that I didn't have my house keys. I tried to get the attention of my shuttle driver, but he was too busy looking straight ahead in the opposite direction. It's -14°C outside. As tough as I am to stay out on my door stoop, I decided to walk five minutes over to the plaza in which this store resides until my boyfriend returns home, which is just an hour. I wasn't sure whether this store accepts debit cards. I asked the kind man at the counter. It does. Yay! I was thirsty and got a Diet Pepsi. I also noticed the numerous dark chocolate Bounty bars and got one. I then paid. This store has a table in front of the lottery section. I asked him if it was okay to sit there for a bit. He was fine. I liked how understanding he was. The seats are padded. I can't complain. There are also bongs and vapes. It's amazing what I discover! The interior isn't the most attractive. However, it does have everything you expect from a corner store. To support my recollection that this store used to be a Becker's, there is still a sticker with its logo where the trash area is. I spent nearly an hour at the store. I am thankful that I passed the brief time in a warm store. (255)

The Froster and Polar Pop flavours were also decent, with roughly a dozen of varieties to choose from, respectively. You can get hot foods, but nothing was there that I wanted to get. There were hot dog rollers, but no hot dogs were available. There was a place to fetch pizza, except that there weren't any slices when I was there. It felt like a hot foods shortage when I was in the store. It was quite the rollercoaster set of emotions. I was thrilled that this store offered hot foods, but I couldn't get anything that I wanted. I had digital coupons for a pizza slice and a hot dog. I put them away. Instead, I used my coupon for a $2 bag of chips. The man at the counter was direct. I had my coupon scanned. They do have an ATM should you need cash. They also sell lottery tickets, greeting cards, USB charging cables, sun glasses, and laundry detergent. They also have pet food.
