I explained what I needed it for and handed over $500 in cash. The money order he gave me was useless as it is marked everywhere "NO MOBILE DEPOSIT" so I had no way of getting it into my account. He refused to give me my money back and started harassing me with weird and contradictory information. He said it would be fine, fill it out and deposit it. I stayed at the side counter and filled it out. It did not work and was considered unacceptable by my bank. Now I can't even use it for rent. The whole time I was trying to fill it out and deposit it with my phone he rudely interrupted me with contradictory instructions despite me pleading w/him to please leave me alone so I could focus. He then told me if it wouldn't deposit I had to go to skager bro (?) and they would give me cash for it. It turns out he was saying Stater Bros. Now he asked me to leave the store and go to Stater Bros and they will refund me the $500 I gave to him. I doubt that will work, so my bills will be late and I will have to take tomorrow off work in order to drive 200 miles to the nearest affiliate credit union where I SHOULD be able to finally get this useless money order in my account. Worst experience ever. Nearly every customer in my presence was complaining and arguing with him. I feel like I got scammed and regret attempting to do business here.
