Turns out that would have * * been a mistake in judgement and. * * a lazy execution of my Yelp duties * * & for this I apologize to all. * ************************************** This is the single 24/7 gas stop & convenience store on the busiest corner in Collierville . Used to be a similar place on the adjacent corner, now a new building going, up but I digress. Who closes an automated car wash at night? My poor dirty Jeep is in serious need of a bath and what better time than on a cool 80° night when there's no waiting, no fuss. But alas after driving around the winding little entrance I run into a closed garage door, hmmm. So I gotta back out and see the unused traffic cone beside the entrance, not cool. I was going to have some more words on this but upon inquiry I discovered that their electronics failed and the closet repair guy is 4 hours away sooooo they are in the process of upgrading their car wash to a whole new & better system, that is in fact very cool. Gotta tell you about about the restrooms, surprise they're nice & clean but bigger shock is the handicap accommodation, they have working big buttons that you tap to swing open both the mens & ladies room. That's pretty cool for a convenience store as these are rare in the fanciest of places. I found this out because Bethany stepped out and asked if I was okay because I was idling in the middle of the parking all alone. I thought that was very nice so I decided to go in to say hello & look around because I hadn't been inside since I kicked my tobacco habit several years ago. Bethany also proudly told me about the new coffee station featuring Simply Green coffees & she offered to buy me one. Wow I am pleasantly surprised that this is a really very good blend of coffee, no more Mikey D's when I need an emergency coffee & I'm too lazy to schlep to Dunkin because this is really tasty coffee & for those who like foo-foo creamers they have a creamer station with shots too. There's biscuit & hot dog stations as well as a cooler with sandwiches & a pop fountain. As for the rest of the store they've got a good selection of beers, a fair milk, juice & water fridge and lots of chips, gums & snacks galore. Plus they have the lottery & big tobacco stock. Only one question, you've got a good ice cream freezer but no Häägen Daz????? Finally BP is the gas brand and I'm good with this company since I've seen how they stepped up in the Gulf region, long term, to make sure that the Gulf beaches and municiplaities had the funds and resources needed to cleanup and address the damage from the April 2010 deep horizon oil spill accident. While it was the largest marine oil spill in the petroleum industry I have been witness to the efforts of BP and the cleanup and beautification projects that are still ongoing now in 2019, so I'm not okay with the devastation of the marine ecology I am okay with people and corporations taking responsibility. I know that's not a reflection on this place to get a car wash, snickers bar and beer but I think about the corporations that I spend my money with, so yep I'm okay with this one. Bottom line: Plenty of pumps and parking, easy access from both Poplar & Byhalia and the staff are friendly, it's clean with EXCELLENT coffee, well stocked and clean handicapped friendly restrooms. This is indeed a good convenience store & gas stop. Now I have done my duty and provided an accurate review. The end.

I noticed a sign on the door that states buy three for $5.50. The clerk rang them all up at $2.99 each telling me that the sale is no good. Then she put it off like it was my fault. I have stopped by this station every work day for months. Thanks but now I will never return! She was arguing with the customer in front of me too. It must be everyone but her. They lost my business and should loss yours too.

The convenience store is otherwise nicely stocked with most of those convenience items you'd expect plus a decent automatic car wash out front that does work just fine. But seriously you guys are just a few feet from the parkway offramp and you've got 16 gas pumps under nice big canopies but you are charging $2.69 per gallon for unleaded regular when almost every other name brand gas station within a few mile radius is charging $2.19, duh. Maybe that explains why you're closed up tight at 10pm. I don't get it but report the facts, just the facts ma'am :-)
