Then I had to wait around for 2-3 hours to sign the paperwork -- because they only had one finance person on duty, and she was busy with another customer. My fault for missing it during signing -- but not exactly a confidence booster. Dropped off my $10,000 down payment check the next morning. They told me the car should be ready later that day. Great! Now the fun part: after driving the car for a few days, I started noticing weird noises. At first, my mechanic thought it might be pulleys related to the turbo -- but to be safe, I scheduled an appointment so they could put it on the lift and check it more thoroughly. When they did, they heard additional noises coming from the transfer case and transmission. Nothing catastrophic yet -- but concerning enough that they referred me to a transmission specialist to take a deeper look. No response Thursday. Reminded them Friday. It's now Tuesday -- still nothing. And just to top it all off -- they didn't even bother resetting the oil life indicator. After supposedly changing the oil as part of their prep, the car is already showing 8% oil life. Just the cherry on top of an experience that truly screams attention to detail.
