Working in the area and stopped for breakfast. This is my third breakfast order and let's just say…read moreit's a nice place to order food. Today, I opted for the pancake breakfast. Three pancakes (nothing smaller but okay. I can eat off this all day), smoked sausage and eggs. Grand total came to $6.65. Not bad. The drive through service was professional, alert and helpful. There was a little wait only because of the larger order ahead of me. The ambiance is pleasant and clean both in the drive through-outside and inside of the building. Back to the order, the smoked sausage was cook perfectly and the eggs were well seasoned, you don't need to add anything. For the pancakes, I'm unsure if it's fresh batter made or frozen but it doesn't give you the other "drive through" taste pancakes but I was kinda looking for a more homey fuller pancake but these are still okay. Since I'm working in the area, I know I'll work my way through the menu choices.

Complaining would be like going to a whorehouse and saying you didn't feel loved. The Taco Bell in Amite is clean and new, and the food is generally fresh. So imagine, very quiet dining area, lights off because there is plenty of natural light, and every two minutes, her phone screams "WHY WON'T YOU ANSWER ME?!?" into the near silence. And it happened seven times. Absolutely god-awful. No sense that there are other people in the world. I had to leave. Just so you know.
