There's always a small line at this gas stations deli, so you know they got the goods. These dude's sell fresh seafood, you can it cooked, or fresh. I always go by here on my way home from Louisiana. When I'm talking about a road trip snack, I'm not talking about slim Jim's, day old burger, or chips. I'm talking crab legs, shrimp, crawfish pies, fresh fried juicy catfish! Boiled shrimp was cooked perfectly, wasn't overcooked swimming in that seasoning. They were frying shrimp and catfish when I walked in. $10 for a box of 5 catfish filets, and 10 jumbo shrimp, it was nice and crispy, needed a tad more seasoning, but great price! Catfish was big, and it was flaky juicy goodness. Giant Turkey wing for $2.49 so why not? Add that to my cart I wasn't a huge fan of it, but it wasn't bad. This is my snack before dinner 1 crawfish meat pie 1/2lb boiled shrimp 5 fried catfish filet 10 jumbo fried fish 1 giant turkey wing's a little under $20 after tax.

I remember placing it on the seat of the shopping cart we used . I rushed back in a panic . I arrived and rushed in and asked the 2 ladies behind the counter if anyone had turned in a wallet ? They were so excited because they had found it and it was in the safe , they had opened it and called the phone number found inside ! I wanted to reward them for their good deed but they would not except it ! So Kim and Britt ,I love you both for restoring my faith in humanity and being so honest !! Last month, I went home due to a family emergency. In the meantime, I went to do some shopping during my stay. Let's see how things went. I went shopping there twice both during the morning time where there were less people. The store itselt is completely different from when I was there many years ago. Of course, the pharmacy no longer exists and isles have been moved around. The store itself was neat with just about each item stacked perfectly. And you can also get discounts if you use a Winn Dixie card or a phone number on file. Just like many grocery stores, Winn Dixie did raise prices on items, especially on snacks. Why would someone want to buy nearly $7 on a bag of Doritos??? Come on!! I know inflation hit stores across the country, but still. Too much compared to before. Other than that, I thought the visits were just fine. The next time I'm in town and in need for local shopping, this is where I'll be.

When questioned, she said they closed at 10 and were cleaning the bathrooms and they wouldn't be opened again. Very thoughtless toward traveling customers.
