If I could give this store location zero stars, I would. I was an employee there until last week. The store assistant manager and another employee as well as myself were working that day. An irate customer with a huge attitude came stomping into the store store and demanded that I stop waiting on the customer at my register just to put $10 in gas "where her car was sitting". She then threw two 5's on the counter and stomped out of the store. I sat the money aside, finished taking of my customer and before I could grab her money and place it on the pump she was at, she came stomping back into the store, cursing at me, then stomped back outside. I then made the decision to not provide service to and proceeded to go outside to give her money back. Once I had done that, she followed me back into the store, cursing, being loud and belligerent. She then followed me past the counter and into an employee only restricted area behind that counter. Neither the store assistant or the other employee prevented her from entering behind the counter or the employee back room. That customer, still cursing at me, proceeded to put her hands on me and assault me. At that point, I went to the store phone and called the police. The customer did not stay for their arrival. I was asked by the store manager and store assistant manager as to "why did I call the police"? I was not asked if I was alright, if I needed medical intervention or if I was hurt. Upon explaining why I "called the police" and showing the results of the assault that was perpetrated on me, I was then told that "I was fired". I would never work for a company or any individual who failed to place their employees safety above lawless criminal customers. This company Circle K DID NOT place this former employee's SAFETY above that of the actions of a lawless criminal customer. Just putting the facts out there, publicly, where the facts belong. You, decide if you would like to patronize this company or this location. read more

Here is a rewritten version that keeps the sarcasm and humor but sounds like a real Yelp/Google…read morereview and won't get flagged. It includes the melted ice cream, Dairy Queen comment, and the spoon suggestion in a cleaner way. Copy-paste review Stopped at Keith's Superstore #151 on Hwy 49 and had one of those small but frustrating experiences. The staff was friendly, but the setup makes no sense. If you're going to sell ice cream, it might be a good idea to keep the spoons near the ice cream instead of having customers walk all over the store trying to find one after they've already paid. I was told it was "over there... no, around here... near the counter," and by the time I would have actually found the spoons, the ice cream was already melting. I ended up throwing it in the trash, leaving, and driving about two miles down the road to Dairy Queen just to get my ice cream fix. To be honest, the ice cream itself was pretty watery too, so it didn't have much time before it started turning into a milkshake anyway. It just needed to last long enough for me to find a spoon, which apparently was harder than expected. Just a suggestion -- I know it sounds crazy, but putting spoons next to the ice cream might make things a lot easier for customers. Not a huge deal, just one of those little things that could make the place run smoother.
