Went in to stock up on beer for weekend. Cashier asked for ID, presented it. Started going off on how I used to be attractive and why did they (the cashier) have to take yearly DMV photos when I didn't. I asked them to stop. It was making me uncomfortable. They persisted. The gas prices here are good. They give coupons or gas card for discounts. Customer service is always friendly. Sometimes,there are vagrants in the area (don't give them money, they are asked to leave), but this isn't their fault. Complain to Fresno City Politicians. read more

I have chosen to boycott CircleK Tower District bc of the most bizarre and totally unjust experience I had there late one summer night. After making a purchase inside the store, I was standing near the bus stop when I saw three bicyclists park in front and go inside. A few minutes later, I heard a big ruckus behind me - the three bicyclists were ferociously banging on the front doors (now locked) & threatening the cashier w all sorts of violent slurs, "we're going to get you!", "wait til you get off!", etc. etc. Shocked, I watched the three angry bicyclists ride off, and I walked up toward the store to make sure the poor girl was ok. As she stood behind the locked glass doors, I tried to express my sympathy & support w body language, and decided to post myself nearby until the cops arrived (based on the severity of the incident, I assumed she'd called the 5-0). As I waited, a guy who said he walked "a long way" for a soda, started popping off his tazer-like device bc the cashier wouldn't open the door. I thought, "Geez, this girl's having a bad night!". Then, a bunch of folk rolled up, including vehicles, pedestrians, and some random dude who asked me to his house "just around the corner" to do some drugs. It felt ridiculously chaotic, but no biggie, what can one expect from Palm and Olive late @ night, right? Then, just as I was marveling at the ghetto-fabulousness of the west Tower Twilight Zone, the entire lot suddenly cleared out, then boom, two cops rolled up. They asked me what happened, and I gave them a vague run down (I'm no snitch), and this is where the story gets bizarre - the cops didn't believe me. In fact, both officers informed me that the clerk gave a detailed description of the perpetrator - "YOU". ME! ME? WhaTF!? Stunned, I tried to explain this was a clear misunderstanding, but unfortunately, the senior officer would not allow me to speak, informed me I was "trespassing", then pushed me in that bullying, demoralizing type-a-way (obviously, he was more fond of using his escalation skills, as opposed to the more patriotic choice, DE-escalation). Despite that, I didnt fall for the trap, but i did verbally express myself anyhow. As i walked down the block toward my car near FAB, I wondered what could've happened if I HAD left CircleK before the cops got there, considering I had been reported to the police in great detail as a perpetrator who'd just threatened violence against that poor little checker girl @ CircleK. That poor little checker girl who was actually a big fat liar who did me dirty for reasons unknown. One who'd fabricated a flatout falsehood captured by dozens of security cameras in real-time. Cameras whose footage is often mysteriously unavailable to exonerate the falsely accused, even in situations as minor and absurd as this. As I neared my car, I realized I could have been stopped, frisked, shaken down, pulled over, etc. etc. Just past FAB, I saw the more civil of the two officers posted up. He wanted to show me his computer screen to assure me the cashier who bore false witness against me had indeed described me in great detail, that I should watch myself bc of how I called out the senior officer for dishonoring his badge, and that I should never go back to CircleK Tower again. I told him he didn't have to worry about me doing any of that. I know a trap when I see one, and I am all the wiser bc of it. Many a citizen these days are gutting the integrity of their business/work for trickery & reindeer games. Refuse to play. RISE ABOVE. read more

This place is a filthy dump. There's one clerk running around trying to clean and stock in between checking people out. There's no trash cans at the gas pumps. About a quarter of the time, around 8:30 am, which I consider prime commute time, the store is locked and the clerk is on a break. This place is only in business due to lack of competition. read more

Some of the most disgusting gas pumps I've seen in all of Fresno. There's food and God only knows what substances are found on it. Why is the city allowing this if covid is such a risk? Where's the health department? Also every single time I go there I'm approached by multiple homeless people it's a homeless people asking for money. Can't really blame the gas station since the city is negligent on doing something about the homeless in the area.They've need to hire security and someone to come and clean these things regularly. I feel like I need to bathe and hand sanitizer and get a Tetanus shot. read more

After living in a tower district for 20 years Circle K is the nearby store that we go to for gas and for whatever we need at any given moment but along the years it seems like it's been taking over by panhandlers and beggars and I don't even send my wife here anymore I go down the street but today I walk in then I see a new manager that I haven't seen in years now I'm coming back because I know she's gonna take care of this place looks Chris I don't see panhandlers and I do see the police department parterre occasion finally the cement has been washed off looks good and clean let's hope for the best read more

I really like the service here- the people are really friendly, but I still despise coming here. I do come here quite a bit because it's close to where I live, but there are always homeless people or people looking for change surrounding this place. A man came up to my window before I even got out of the car one time asking for money. It's just about every time I come here I get asked for something.. very annoying when I just want to get gas and leave! Like I said though- the people that work here are nice and make it at least tolerable to come. read more

Horrible customer service! They cashiers that work there look like they are mad at the world. No customer service at all. I said good morning and got no response. Said thank you no response. All I got was the amount to pay. Eyes rolling when I paid with card. Gentleman behind did the same said hi and nothing. If you are so miserable where you are isn't it better just to move on for your own mental health and for the others. You don't know if you are going to be that one person who is going to brighten up someone's day just with a smile or a friendly greeting. Never will go in there again. Clean but the polar pop machine seems to ALWAYS be out of ice or broken. Next to Tower District so actually pretty safe and always well lit. I still suggest you go to this one or the one on West. Because the one on ASHLAND is incredibly overpriced. They tried to charge me $1.34 for an .89c drink. read more
