They're always delicious and today I see they've added taco plate for taco Tuesdays 9am-1pm and they also have lunch specials at 9-1pm as well... breakfast is out out 5am to 9am. It's been awhile since I've been here so I'm happy to see they added all these afternoon choices. Earlier today I couldn't remember that it was on via Ventura exit so I stopped at another gas station & burrito grill and pad 9.00 for my burrito. It's not even that tasty and I just got here to this market , I was determined to drive around and find it.... and their burritos are still only 5 to 6.00.... unbelievable! But this isn't about them, its about a once beloved store that I'm more familiar with; having grown up where they were the only bastion of convenience, I cherished the slurpee and the doughnuts. Alas, the good people at this location seemed to be nice, there is an elderly woman who sits near the all-in-one-atm/check cashing machine, presumably the owner. There seems to be a fresh supply of taquitos, but the store is cramped and overstocked. The service was slow, and I returned outside to find my bike stolen. The folks inside insisted there was no cameras except ONE, and it faced just at the door, I'm sure the bare minimum. A week later, I dropped my wallet and noticed about 100 yards later, but returned to find it missing. I canceled my card and was told that someone had purchased over $250 worth of products ten minutes beforehand. What convenience store sees that kind of sale and doesn't check ID? Especially from the crackheads that lurk around that corner....lovely. Dont bother with this store, crime lurks all around it. The Circle K across the street is better.

I went around 2pm today and was pleasantly surprised that there was not a long line. Technically, there were more cars in line to pump for those with the gas tank on the left side of their vehicle but I chose to pump from the opposite side. I think today's trip was record time with me pulling in, pulling up, and pulling off. With gas prices being $4.99 at Circle K, I was happy to drive to my favorite Costco and pump gas for $4.69. But usually, I always am. Anyway, another successful trip to Costco and I didn't even go in!

It's jus a good store and I always am near this location when I'm stomping around Tempe for errands. It has lots of drinks, ice machine always works and gas pumps on both sides. It's just good, well laid out and guts always hold the door for me going in and out. Something about this location is charming. Lots of working people passing thru and taking care of business. It's at the light and easy to get in and out of. I think there's a car wash next store too.

I stopped by there today on the way back from the airport to pick up some flowers for my wife and also to grab a Starbucks in the Safeway, and while I found some flowers, I left with different flowers than expected and no Starbucks, and I was disappointed with the service I experienced. First, I stopped by the store's Starbucks where there was no one in line, and I waited at the front of the line where the employee saw me and continued doing something that wasn't clear (making a drink or cleaning something). She didn't acknowledge me and when she finished, she didn't offer to assist me. I ended up walking away when it appeared she wasn't in the mood to assist someone. I then walked over to the floral section where the floral associate said that the flowers I was looking for weren't in stock and were not being replenished. She pointed out a similar priced bouquet of flowers though I told her I wasn't concerned about the price but was looking for a similar color and type of flower. She hadn't shared any suggestions for what I could get, so I just selected flowers I thought my wife would like and departed. On the way out, I saw the Starbucks associate cleaning something in front of the front counter with no customers waiting for assistance. I did not stop back at the counter. I have enjoyed Safeway and Albertsons stores in general and their promotions from their annual Monopoly game way back when to the Flavor Adventure through the app a few years ago, too.
