Got the key and opened the door. Not good, but I had to go. Sit down and do my business, and there's no toilet paper. There's also no paper towels. Lovely. At least there was a refill bottle of liquid hand soap on the sink so I could at least wash my hands. Walking out I noticed all the shelves were half empty. The two employees were still smoking out front when I left. Stopped at the Casey's in Maroa so I could wipe my ass! I'm not sure how this place is still in business. The Indian restaurant is now a Mexican restaurant but it doesn't look like it's open. I've only purchased gas there a couple of times and never gone inside before. I bought a small packet of Chips Ahoy, my 84 year old Mother in Law bought small packet of ToastChee peanut butter crackers. She later opened the package and relayed a horrible taste to the crackers. I checked the package and it had expired Dec 24, 2016. My cookies had expired on March 11, 2019. The crackers smelled so rancid it stunk up the entire car. Someone needs to inspect this place before they get someone sick. I did report them to the Macon County Health Inspector.

Sometimes there are three cashiers and one will be smoking one is mopping the floor while there is a line all the way back to the freezers. I don't know if they're in a hurry to get out of there because it's the end of their shift or they just don't care about the line. But I would avoid this gas station between 5 and 7pm I live a block away but I will drive 3 miles so that I can actually get waited on quickly.

Their carriers don't deliver to the correct address, and when they do the package is often damaged. Complaints directed to Fedex go without any kind of QC/QA, bc they're a multi-billion dollar company & 'to hell with the customers'. Replacement product is often also delivered in the same manner. I've cancelled my club membership mainly bc Sam's doesn't give me a choice in shipping service, even though I'm paying for it. Too bad, bc I really like some of their Member's Mark products, but I don't have a club within a reasonable driving distance, and the cost of membership wouldn't be cost effective.

Nearly every other experience with Sams Club has been majorly disappointing however. The store itself seems to be poorly managed. The food court is an absolute joke, a couple of stale slices of plain pizza and weak hot dogs, when you can find it actually staffed and open during club hours. Nearly every time you check out there you have a line of full carts and a single friendly, but way over burdened receipt checker holding you hostage from exiting until she can verify your receipt and items you may be stealing. Costco also has the obligatory receipt screening but they manage the lines and service the customers. This is something this Decatur store refuses to do consistently. The goofy Sams Club tries to up-sell you to a premium member ship for the pleasure of being queued up like cattle waiting to be scrutinized. The checkout up-sells you EVERY DAMN TIME. WONT TAKE NO THANK YOU FOR AN ANSWER. The store is absent a pharmacy and every other Sams Club offering. The meat cases are nearly empty every day. You can't find USDA Prime beef there, they offer "Members Prime" instead seemingly trying to fool you into thinking you are getting better for your money when you are not. This seems downright deceptive to me. Costco puts this place to absolute shame and even though the closest one is 45 miles away, I maintain my membership there where you get real USDA Prime beef for the drive and all the other wonderful deals Kirkland brand negotiates for its Costco members. No more Sams for me. I cant justify two memberships and I like Costco even though its a drive once a month. Sams actually annoys me. So it goes by-by.

This is 3 x a month I have to call,…read morewait for my seizure medication to the point I have to ask for emergency medication because they never fill it. Half the time I have to call my doctor and they let me know that never get a order from Walgreens. Just today I had to remind them for the 3rd time about my meds that I ran out of for my seizures and they swear they will have them ready in 90min. They said 3 days ago they'd be ready, then 2 days ago not rdy again. I'm completely out again this is not the first time. I've never had this issue any other location. Time to change pharmacy. ​
