Walgreens has been my preferred pharmacy for years and I have had nothing but good experiences…read more That said, I've recently had two encounters recently that went above and beyond my expectations. First, the pharmacists were incredibly helpful and patient with my seven year old. She was prescribed a medication that only comes in pill form and was very nervous about swallowing pills. Both pharmacists took extra time to put her--and me--at ease. The daytime pharmacist offered a tip for swallowing a pill using a straw. The pharmacist on the evening shift showed my daughter several different options for the medication, made by different manufacturers. The ability to choose the pill gave her a sense of control, which made the daunting process feel a bit easier. The second praise-worthy encounter occurred this evening. My 3 year old was diagnosed with a double ear infection at urgent care and was prescribed an antibiotic. The prescription was called in ten minutes before the pharmacy closed and I knew we wouldn't arrive until just after closing. I called Walgreens and explained our situation. The pharmacy tech--with the pharmacist's blessing-- kindly offered to fill the prescription and stay a few minutes after her shift ended to wait for us. I wish I had caught her name, but I was so overcome by gratitude and relief it slipped my mind to ask. On the way home, I explained to my daughter what she has done. After it sunk in, my daughter told me that when she was a grown up, she would stay late at her work to help someone, too. Thank you to the Walgreens pharmacy staff for your expertise AND for being such good human beings! Our community is lucky to have you!

No he didn't counted the money like I thought but was turning the 20.00 bills so that the heads all faced one direction apparently. Schnucks is a pretty great place to find fresh vegetables and things like kiwi fruit, and other…read morefruits and veggies that you can't always find at Kroger. They both have nice employees. Schnucks is a bit more pricey for most of their other groceries. I try to shop at BOTH places, when I'm trying to eat more produce. The folks who work there are really nice, too. I feel like Kroger kinda stole their idea of peeling baby clementines and selling them in a bowl, but I think both stores have good food. They were selling salads (pre-made) at Kroger, near the front of the store but Schnucks has a "salad/ready to eat sandwich cooler" that is slightly bigger at Schnucks. It's kinda hard to "log in" for just browsing the stuff at both places, but at least the addresses are correct in the year 2026! There is a limited selection of bagged candy at Schnucks, in the aisle called "SNACKS" or something. It helps me get more healthy foods (probably) causing better health....good for fighting the cancer I'm battling, less fake sugar! And sorry, Aaliyah, but Schnucks closes at 10 pm now, just like Kroger! They seem nicer about getting you out of the store on time, rather than Kroger. A Kroger employee lady was rude to an old man with a cane/walker who made it around the store and found what he wanted. She basically told him to leave! SHE'S kind of freaky, and not in a great way. I needed to meet someone ASAP or I would've stood up for him... old dude just needed some FOOD! At Schnucks the other night, I didn't leave until 10:10pm! The self-check area seems to have nicer people at Schnucks, more kind and polite.
