The first thing you'll notice is the seemingly endless sea of gas pumps--fueling up is quick and easy, even when the place is busy. Once inside, it's much more than a gas station. It's a massive travel center packed with snacks, drinks, gifts, clothing, home décor, and just about anything else you could imagine needing (or not needing) on a road trip. The store is spotless, well-organized, and surprisingly easy to navigate despite its size. The real stars, though, are the food. The brisket sandwich is absolutely worth the hype--fresh, tender, smoky, and piled high. Don't leave without grabbing some of their fresh jerky, either. With so many flavors to choose from, it's easy to find a favorite. And then there are the bathrooms. I know it sounds strange to rave about a restroom, but Buc-ee's truly deserves the recognition. They are, without question, the cleanest public bathrooms I've ever used while traveling. That alone makes Buc-ee's a must-stop on any road trip. Even with the crowds, the employees are friendly, the checkout lines move incredibly fast, and the whole operation runs like a well-oiled machine. Whether you're stopping for gas, grabbing a meal, stocking up on snacks, or just stretching your legs, Buc-ee's has turned a routine pit stop into a destination. It's one of those places that actually lives up to the hype, and I'll happily stop every chance I get.

Yep...It's a gas station!…read more This is an average station, but here's the skinny... The station across the street has gas cheaper a good part of the time, but not all the time. If this BP was just as cheap as the other station I'd go here every time I was in need to fill up on this end of town. That said, if they are the same or even a penny or two higher I will go to this station. I like easy! It is easy to get in and out of with the entry/exit points and there is a light on the main road on one side so you don't have to fight traffic to get out and cross lanes. Plus, it has a shopping plaza behind it so you have options for driving in and out of it instead of only having a street entrance/exit. One of the good things about this station is that it's "roomy" to drive in. You don't have any or much gridlock. There is a small convenience store and a car wash as well. I have never used the car wash, nor seen it working. My quirky note: I like to put the pump on automatic while I put my credit card away, throw away trash, etc. Here, you must hold the nozzle.

This has now happened for the fourth time, and it no longer feels like a coincidence. Since the "boss" moved to the new store on 207, this location on A1A has gone downhill. The store is noticeably less maintained, from basic cleanliness issues to problems like the coffee machine needing cleaning and the milk dispenser often being empty. Overall, it just doesn't feel properly cared for anymore. On top of that, we've repeatedly experienced what feels like ongoing card issues at the pumps. The previous manager used to personally check the pumps for skimmers, and I've seen him do it. That level of oversight seems to be gone now. Whether it's negligence or something else, the situation is disappointing and concerning.
