The Old Fashioned I tried was exceptionally smooth and perfectly crafted. I also had a martini with blue cheese olives, and they were hands down the best blue cheese olives I've ever had. What stood out most was the passion and hospitality from the entire staff. It's rare to find a place where everyone is so invested in the craft and creating a welcoming experience for guests. I had the maple Old Fashioned, and it was amazing -- smooth, flavorful, and definitely something I would come back for. My girlfriend had the Sauvignon Blanc and really enjoyed it as well. One of the best parts of the night was Anna coming over to talk with us toward the end of our visit. That personal touch made the experience feel even more welcoming and memorable. They have sofa seating and many seating tables. Staff was friendly and helpful. They serve fresh pastries and also have other food items such as sandwiches and wraps. We tried their Mexican mocha and vanilla latte. Both were very good with a rich coffee flavor that we like. We also had their chocolate chip scone which was very good as well. For loaded mac, the protein is polish sausage-not something I've seen before. While it somewhat works, I don't think I'd order this again. They also had a ticketed comedy show, which we stayed for after the official closing time on a Saturday. It was fun and totally worth it. With their strong local connections and family atmosphere, Wild Fields in Atascadero is worth the detour from SLO and Paso destinations, especially for families.
