Inside of the gas station had your typical items found in gas stations. The staff wasn't extremely friendly but were okay. The male worker was hard working. Another female staff member was present but not helpful to customers. I ended up paying for my gas at the pump after all, which had spider webs on it. I was waiting for Charlottes web to show up at any moment. Of course, I requested a receipt.... Guess what? It didn't give me one. Sigh

If I'm driving by (especially depending on the time of day - lunch/after work) I'd probably pass. Can be a little time consuming getting out of here. The convenience store is sized similar to most and has the same selection of ships, candy, drinks, jerky and a few house hold odds and ends. Prices are on par with any other location. Surprisingly they have a rather large selection of wine by the bottle if you're interested. The staff has been friendly every time we've been here. Greeting us when we walk in, asking if they can help us find anything and friendly when we check out. Even if we have just walked in to use the restroom they have been friendly. Overall a good location and we will continue to use when we are in the area.

One thing that surprised me was their beef jerky selection. I guess people from Alabama like their beef jerky here, because every stop I made in Alabama seemed to have a huge stock. They easily have over 100 gas pumps that serve all types of gas (ethanol free, diesel, unleaded). All the gas pumps were full but it doesn't take long for someone to leave. I finally tried the fudge which was buy 4 and get 2 free. The fudge is delicious. On the inside, they sell everything. Jerky walls, fresh fudge, sandwiches, BBQ, breakfast, snacks, drinks, souvenirs, clothes, etc. I love the Beaver nuggets and they are very similar to popcorn. You can buy a can or bottle soft drink but the fountains are much cheaper. The brisket sandwich was huge and tasty. They have enough cashiers to keep the crowd moving. I will return. The bathrooms are huge and really clean.

Buc-ee's is more than a gas station... it's an experience! This one sits a little past halfway on the Nashville-to-Atlanta drive, so a lot of us hit it often, and that's my main gripe: it is way, way too crowded. Almost every visit, even off-peak, there's traffic just getting off the highway and into the lot. They don't manage it well for a lot this size, and it always feels like you're one distracted driver away from a fender bender. Parking is tough, sometimes requiring circling around or parking far away. I come here mostly for the clean bathrooms, so having to wait in line for the women's restroom on two recent visits felt outrageous given there must be fifty stalls in there. Inside, weird and tasty snacks galore. Everyone says get the brisket and jerky, but insiders know the breakfast burritos are the true star, fresh-made flour tortillas and all. The highlight of my last stop was dill pickle sour straws, handed out as samples, excellent. The sugar-roasted candied pecans look tempting but are rarely actually fresh and warm at this location, which is frustrating. Then there's a warehouse-worth of home goods, clothing, house supplies, and anything you can print a Bucc-ee on. The t-shirts are my favorite, absurdly soft, my fave for sleeping in. This spot is ultimately still a classic Buc-ee's experience. But the crowds and the traffic and the general hassle make me think twice about stopping. Gas here is cheap, though not the cheapest on the route.
