The biggest issue is that the price of goods listed on the shelf or on the product seems to frequently not march the actual price that rings up. I say this without exaggeration or hyperbole: I would estimate that around 30%-40% of the items I buy ring up for a higher price at checkout. It's normally just a few cents here and there (i.e. $1.09 for something marked as $1.00), but it is something I find pretty annoying. If I weren't traveling for work and had to pay with my own money, I would probably be even more frustrated and would say something about it. But my company is buying, so arguing over $0.50 here and there just isn't worth my time. read more
