Card readers are not chip enabled. At pump #9, when I selected the grade of gas nothing changed on the display. Not sure if that is a Marathon thing, or just this pump. (I usually get gas from other chains.) I also went to use the squeegee. The one closest to #9 was missing the blade on the squeegee. I had already put the washer fluid on my window so I went to find another squeegee. Seeing it had the blade I went to use it on my window. That blade was strangely warped. It did not remove liquid evenly. The car was filled so I decided to go rather than trying a 3rd squeegee.

That being said, I am not there during peak hours. I am in and out quickly. There is convenient store and car wash. Ice is available outside. Like all the other Speedway locations I have visited, promotional information covers the windows. A rewards program is available. Reward points may be redeemed for items at Speedway or from companies they have partnered with.

Delores (10+ years of customer service) yells over customers on the checkout line that we should stop using the machine. We explain that it JUST started. She continues to tell the other customers that its just common sense. When I get to the counter I tell her its not right for her to yell at us and she says well the machine is broken and there was a sign and YOU must have removed the sign. I was stunned!! There was another customer who used the machine as well and we had brewed one cup with no issues. Its one thing that she didn't want us to use the machine but its a whole other level that she 1) yelled, 2) over other customers, 3) continues to complain about our lack of common sense to other customers while we are in line, 4) accused me of removing the sign. All this and she still didn't have the urgency to go put the sign (that was no where is sight) back up. Delores you are rude and I wish you well.

Oh, and I love that this is still one of the few places that trusts their customers enough that they let you fill up before paying. I hate when you have to either swipe your card at the pump, or go in and give them money before they turn it on. Either you didn't give them enough and your car doesn't fill up, or you gave them too much, then you have to go back in and ask for your change. I hate that many gas stations do that.
