I have been using these candles for years, they are amazing. I usually stockpile them when I'm in Fredericksburg. The other reviews are correct these candles last a long time. One candle will smell an entire room with the delightful fragrance. They are on the pricey side the 12 ounce flared jar is 15$ where some candles at the grocery store would be maybe $10, but they are worth the value because the great fragrance last all the way to the end of the jar. The company's service is great too. I had an experience with one of the candles I got home and did not like the way it burns so the company was nice and replaced it with a different fragrance and shipped it to me for free! My husband and I had such a fantastic time busing the Circle E headquarters. After enjoying a wine tasting, we stopped by to the showroom. The lovely sales associate was so friendly and helpful. We had a great time smelling all the candles. We ended up leaving with a whole box full. I have used these candles for many years since I am from Texas. A few years ago my glass jar shattered and I had wax go everywhere. I emailed Circle E and a very rude gal told me these candles aren't meant to be burned for to long. She begrudgingly replaced the candle. The other day another one of the glass jars shattered - again leaving wax all over. The candle jars I have determined aren't very safe. I didn't burn the last one that long. read more

Circle E Candles are the BEST candles I have ever had!! They have a very long burn life and make the whole room smell amazing!! Bird of Paradise is one of my favorites. I have not made it out to their location in Fredericksburg yet but that is a visit I am planning on taking soon since I now live in the Austin area. Beware of website!! My complaint is not about the candles (which I love) but about their website and customer service. I wanted to order orange patchouli candle tarts. If you drill down through their website to the candle tarts then to orange patchouli a page comes up that has "Candle Tarts" in big letters at the top of the page, so you would expect all the products listed there to be candle tarts. Two are marked jars, which is odd, but the rest appeared to me to be candle tarts. So I selected the one that says "28 oz" in the description column for $21.60. When I received the order, it was a giant candle. When I called customer service they told me to return it. So I returned it at a cost of $10.85. The fact that their website so so confusing and the fact the page was clearly labeled "Candle Tarts" in large letters made no difference. They refused to reimburse me for the return shipping. Needless to say I will never order from their website again. read more

Love the candles as my home always smellsgreat,my only issue is with the glass, I need to keep watch as it gets to the bottom as glass completely cracks and blows all over counter and floor. Apparently glass is not strong enough to sustain the heat. Sill love the aroma. read more

I love the Bird of Paradise, Orange Patchouli, and Evening Passion (which smells like Obsession). The candles are well-packed for shipment and I have never had a problem with my delivery. I was given a specific birthday wish for a person who is quite a good friend to me...and I tried looking at Hobby Lobby, the local country store who carries them, but to my surprise, no one had any of the Bird of Paradise in stock. I looked on the website and not only did they have them, but they were the fragrance of the month and 25% off....win, win. They even got them here in time for my friend's birthday. I've had a few Circle E candles over the years and they were *very* good. The ones I bought this past year, however, were quite disappointing. Virtually no fragrance when burned, and it just seems like their quality has slipped significantly overall. Not sure if their production method has changed or if they are cutting corners perhaps to save money...? Just my opinion, but these days you can get better candles elsewhere for less. read more

I received a candle for xmas. I love to burn candles so this was a wonderful gift! The candle smells so good and the aroma goes throughout the house! Many candles do not do that so I was so happy that these did! I have placed an order for a bunch more. The prices may seem high to some but if you want a good candle that you can smell, don't waste your money on the famous ones (YC) that don't do the job. GC is good but I think these are cheaper and I have been buying from GC for years. read more

I will never buy another Yankee Candle again after experiencing this companys candles. OMG they are like candle nirvana and worth every single cent. The Bird of Paradise is fabulous and I am hooked. I have FINALLY found what I have been looking for in terms of scent, quality and my moneys worth. My husband came home from work and first thing he said was "WOW" this smell is incredible. These are bar none the best candles I have ever had. I went to school in Texas and loved them. Many folks think that they are a bit pricey, which they can be but the burn time cannot be beat. I have just started ordering the bow boxes and the refills. The refills, at most, are $5.50 and have a legitimate burn time of 70 hours (not just that they last for 70 hours and the scent is over after about 10) Not only are you paying less and able to try more scents but you are also using less glass. i have lived all over the country and I will always be ordering these candles. read more

I had my Circle E Candle burning for about 1.5 hours one evening when I heard a loud pop. I was in the next room but this was loud enough for us all in the house to hear. Upon walking in my living room I noticed there was glass all over the floor and where the candle sat. The candle apparently exploded and the wax had poured out onto my wood table. I cleaned it up and noticed the wax had ruined my wood table as well as stained my carpet. The most disappointing thing however was when I contacted Circle E letting them know what happened and included photos of the incident, they sent me back an email stating that the wick must have burned too close to the side and sent me a PDF on how to "properly burn their candles" needless to say this was a little insulting and I have never had to read instructions on any other candle I have ever purchased. These candles are not cheap by any means so for the price I paid plus having my carpet cleaned and it ruining my expensive wood table I will not be purchasing another one. I hoped the company would have handled this situation by taking a little more responsibility rather than assuming I improperly burned the candle (as if that were possible) read more
