I went in 3 separate times. My friends went in on numerous occasions. All CASH buyers. They got zero on sales service . One friend said I tried and they would not sell me a boat and I had cash in hand. No one would wait on him. I emailed pics of a possible trade like they ask. I even ask them to bring a new Boat down that "yes" it was what I wanted. NOTHING . As A business owner myself , I wonder how do you stay in business like this. The bottom of the boat had scuff marks that were painted over poorly-the paint on the boat is smooth, except for these places that were needing to be repaired, they are textured and looks like it was done in a rush without care of detail. Another place on the end of the motor was repaired but has a new dent that was not there before, the paint also contains bubbles that were not buffed out in between coats. The whole end of the boat is covered in white paint splatters and overspray in places that should not have even needed to be touched. The boat has been in their shop for 2 months! When I picked up the boat, I looked it over and voiced my concerns, they didn't seem to care but to tell me what I owed. I highly do not recommend using them for repairs. What a joke. I should not have had to pay the amount that I did for the poor work ethic and carelessness.

They did several unrequested jobs that had nothing to do with what I requested, & half ass did that. it cost me 1491.15 & if I didn't pay it they would keep it for a labor lien. It was purchased from them. They changed both trailer lights (costing 51.75ea.) then charged for 4 bolts & nuts to apply them. Greased steering with evidence of grease at zerk fittings, but the steering wheel had never been turned. Service manager says this is included in their so-called annual service, which is done at no extra labor charge, but I was in no way told what this service included before I left it there for service. I guess at the exurbanite parts prices, no need to charge for labor, plus this is their way of charging for stuff, that you have no way of knowing if they were working or not. I Did drive from Starks to Bmt. & didn't get stopped for lights not working. "NEVER AGAIN" for me, & you be Leary!!! Too bad they don't have half stars.

I left the boat with them for as long as it was necessary to sell it. Under the consignment contract, I expected to receive my settlement roughly 20 days after the sale, since I did not have negative equity. At the business's request, I authorized my bank to work directly with them to complete the transaction. After the sale, the business delayed my settlement for several months. I was told that payment would not be issued until the title was physically received from my bank, but I did not see that requirement in their consignment contract. As a seller I was put in a precarious position of risk for months. When I ultimately received the final settlement, I was shocked to discover that I was additionally charged for the buyer's TT&L fees. As a Texan I've never seen a case where the seller pays TT&L. I've never worked with a dealership of any kind that thought this to be proper either. When I raised the issue and requested reimbursement for the TT&L charges, the owner was quick to point out that I "wasn't charged storage fees," although storage fees were not listed as an option anywhere on my settlement statement and had never been brought up before. He also highlighted that the business has been charging TT&L to the consignment sellers for many years. After two visits, I received a partial refund, but I still ended up $500 short of full reimbursement because he deemed it appropriate to keep the other half. Does this business eat the TT&L for its new boat buyers?

Delivered to Pete Jorgensen Marine and within 30 hrs my lower has been torn down diagnosed and I and insurance company have a repair order. My drive and prop shaft along with some bearings and seals will be getting replaced. The quickness of Pete Jorgensen Marine to do all this in early April, in 30 hrs, the busiest time of the year seems quite exemplary to me. Excellent customer service, I was impressed when I saw the place as its extremely clean and seems very organized. Very nice to know I have an actual Yamaha outboard Master certified tech 30 minutes from home especially considering how much I value my VMAX 250 Yamaha SHO. No power to the controls or motor. 12 volt power to the accessories and trim tabs. My biggest problem was the motor was down and the trim/tilt wasn't working. We were headed home the next day so I was in a bind. I got to their store around noon and told them my predicament. They started working on the boat immediately. After 2 hours of trying to diagnose an intermittent electrical problem, it turned out the Perko switch was bad internally. New switch and everything worked. And the charge was more than reasonable. Anywhere else it would have been 3 weeks and at least 3 times the cost.

Great, I told him I would pick it up on Monday. He was upset about that and said he needed his money due to out of pocket expenses. I brought him the money on Sunday evening and he had the boat in his yard waiting. I paid him the money,(He asked for money up front for parts, $140, which I did) owed, the balance was $440. Total of $580. His add states hourly labor at $70 and gurantees his work or labor is free. He charged me $85 and hour, but, I didn't say anything, just glad to get my boat fixed. I was not able to put the boat in the water due to work until the following weekend, it wouldn't crank...doing same thing it was doing before I brought it to Tim. I called him and no reply. I texted him and he said he was at hospital, personal stuff. He texted me the video that he sent initially of my boat running and said he would get back to me. I waited a couple of days and tried calling him, no answer, so I texted him again. He sent me a very unprofessional text back about him being busy and having more to do than mess with a boat he had already fixed. Needless to say with all of the issues, communications, money spent and boat not running, his attitude about it, like he was the victim and I was trying to get over on him when all I wanted was my boat fixed, I would highly reccommend that you don't waste your money here. He "guarantees" his work....he never even offered to look at the boat after he "fixed" it and things got ugly with the back and forth about the boat. If there was a way to rate "zero stars" that would be my rating. I am out $580 and had to take the boat to a real mechanic that has a shop, a sign and didn't ask for money up front. Beware of "shade tree" mechanics. Live and learn, posting this so no one else makes the same mistake.
