Good time today at c.1949. Great service and great craft beer... and mimosas :) Friendliest staff on the block! Played Dominoes at the bar with a group of friends. Played pool and darts! They had a couple of food trucks today... Cool vibe and good seating. We will be back sometime.

They always have some great selections of craft beers. They often have features of different breweries and highlight several of their beers at a time. They have a nice indoor bar with some tables inside but a very nice patio area with plenty of space and tables. They often have live music playing on the patio and food trucks right outside. They have a great vibe, relaxing and chill. Open at 4 Monday to Friday and open at noon Saturday and Sunday.

Syringe in the parking lot, and a bit of musty smell upon entering but nice friendly staff with craft beers from local breweries on tap or canned and bottled. Great patio space with fountain.

Decided to try a new place in the area. I am going to keep this short and simple since we didn't have food and they don't serve any anyways. Tucked on the corner of Sligh and N Orleans Avenue is this beer bar. There is a pool table and dart board along with a little side table with board and card games to play while sipping on a good cold brew. They have a vast selection of beers on tap. Trust me, you won't have a problem finding something. There is plenty of seating inside, but they also have a really nice outdoor area to enjoy that is covered. If you are hungry, there is a food truck parked right on the outside of the entrance to the "beer garten". I am not sure if they change the food truck, but at the time that we went, it happened to be a Taco truck. The staff is engaging and super nice. We will definitely be back the next time we are in that area. YELPERS....claim your 50% off of your first draft upon your very first check-in offer!!

I like c. 1949! I have been coming to this local bar for the past few years. There is a great covered outdoor patio area. The bar has ample seating and TVs to watch sports. The staff has been friendly and helpful. The staff will help you find the right beer or sour for your taste. They are always willing to give you a sample. There are food trucks that go to circa on a rotating basis (Saucin Wings, xtreme tacos etc) There is a link on C. 1949's Facebook page with the food truck of the night. Check out C. 1949's Facebook page for updates. If you are in the neighborhood then swing by and check out c. 1949!

From time to time if I am in this neighborhood, I enjoy going to this hidden gem. It has an indoor bar scene as well as an outdoor beer garden. Inside is a bit of a sports bar with the TVs. They have a nice selection of craft beers, as well as, a few ciders. They are not a restaurant and don't serve food. However, they do get food trucks on certain days. You would just have to do some research or just call them to see what's going to be there if you need something to eat. Otherwise, you need to eat ahead of time (or after). There's a decent amount of parking, but on busier nights, you may find yourself parking on grass/dirt lot. It's a nice start for a casual drinking experience. It has a chill, very casual vibe.

Have been wanting to come here for a while and finally did! They were wrapping up a wedding reception and shared the left over desserts with us. SCORE! The bartender was friendly, knowledgeable and patient as we picked our way through the huge list of beers. Ended up getting a flight and then a couple more.

This place was phenomenal! Their beer selection is completely out of this world! I had the bartender make me a random flight of beer and I was not disappointed with any of the beers I tried! If you're an IPA fan I highly suggest getting the G13 IPA! The inside is a bit small with the primary inside seating being the chairs surrounding the bar with a few tables away from the bar. There was a delicious Mexican food truck that sold food right in front of the outside patio seating for the bar. The food is allowed inside the bar as well. I truly enjoyed my steak quesadilla and IPA. Will definitely be going back!

Y'all, you get 50% off on your first draft beer. That alone is worth a reason to make a stop! My hubs said he saw it on the way to King of the Coop, a spot we scoped out & after having their spicy Nashville Chicken - needed something to calm down our taste buds! My hubs got a Weinstephaner Hefeweizen & I ended with 7venth Sun Graffiti Orange Wheat (local) after trying 4 different porter/stouts - none were calling out to me at all that night. 5 stars for Matt for being so kind as I sampled different beers trying to figure what I wanted. The Weinstephaner was better compared to the Graffiti Orange because to me it was more robust & I like a heavier beer compared to lighter beers. Check out the courtyard area that includes a jenga set with plenty of outdoor seating - one of the most dog friendly places on the inside & outside. They don't serve food, but have gourmet popcorn as an option - love that choice, even though it's not as substantial as a meal, it's still a great choice & snack!

I visited this bar as part of the Brew Bus Ugly Sweater tour. This is a great little neighborhood bar with a nice outside patio. They have an extensive beer and cider menu, lots of tvs inside and a couple dart boards. The restrooms were clean. They also had a watering station outside for dogs so I assume the patio is pet friendly. I had a pear cider here, and if you check in on Yelp, like I did, you get 50% off your first drink! I would go here more if I lived in the neighborhood but it is still someplace to think about going another time.

We've enjoyed their beers many times back home in New Jersey, so it was great to finally stop in. We only had the beer, so I can't comment on the food, but the beers themselves were excellent. The standouts for us were the Maduro Brown Ale , along with a really refreshing watermelon rice beer. The only reason I'd knock off a star was the service. Three different bartenders checked in with us during our visit, but only one seemed interested in any kind of conversation. The other two barely said a word, which made the experience feel a bit less welcoming than we expected. Overall though, the beer was fantastic and definitely worth the stop if you're in the area.

We ordered food, which also came out really quick. The fries were a hit for my hubby, while I thought they were a tad dry, he found them to be amazing. I ordered the veggie burger. It was pretty good, especially with the toppings. My hubby ordered the Cuban. The first bites were a little dry, but when you got to the toppings, everything blended together, very similar to my veggie burger. The prices were very reasonable as well. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back.

I finally got the chance to check out Lees Grocery for a superbowl dinner and will definitely be returning. The atmosphere was very laid back and although it was pretty empty when we went, I can imagine it's a fun spot when it's more busy. The inside is smaller than I anticipated it to be, but I enjoyed it. Made it seem homier. I was surprised to see the large outdoor seating area, which seems great for larger groups! Food: The wings are absolutely amazing. We ordered the 10 wings, plain, with hot and mild sauce and blue cheese on the side. The wings were so perfectly seasoned and almost reminded me of the wings on a rotisserie chicken, nicely smoked. We also got a plain cheese pizza pie, 18''. It came out fresh, hot, and the cheese and sauce had great flavor. It does have a thicker chewier crust. Parmesan cheese, oregano, red pepper, and garlic powder are available to add on top. There were a lot of fun pizza options/ combos and we'll be back to try the more interesting flavors. I'm also interested in trying the garlic parmesan wings. The nice thing about smaller joints like this is that the food comes out quick and so fresh! No food is sitting around when the kitchen is so close to the main dining area. Drinks: They have such a large variey of canned craft beers, ipa's, seltzers, and even non-alcoholic beers. There were also 6 different draft beers. I sipped on some Surfside's, while my boyfriend enjoyed the Tampa Export gold lager. It was a very light and crisp beer. The bartender was great and let us sample a couple of the beers and even made a mix of a sour and seltzer beer that she likes!

I really appreciated how welcoming and approachable the staff was. The atmosphere felt comfortable and family-like, and I loved that they don't hold back on the toppings. The flavor combination of how all the different toppings work together was even more enjoyable than the pizza underneath it for me personally. For this style of pizza, I'd definitely recommend getting something with sausage. The sausage was easily the best part for me, and this style of pizza really complemented the sausage they used. The crust had a little bit of a spongy texture which makes it a very filling pizza.
