After trying numerous lash studios in the area, CIO Bella has become my go to spot for lashes. They are always having some kind of specials and the product is top notch. She really listens to what look you are going for and makes sure you get it. On top of that she takes about half the time of other lash studios which for me is a huge bonus! Sometimes the appointments online can be limited but if you call they can usually accommodate you somehow. I will continue to go here for all my lash needs! read more

I went to Cio Bela to get eyelash extensions for the first time ever and let me tell you...I was nervous! I had never had them done before, so I wasn't 100% sure what to expect (plus the thought of someone touching my eyelashes/face for two hours straight freaked me out a little). I had wanted to get them for a while now and I had a little bit of free time during my work trip, so I bit the bullet and made an appointment. As soon as I got there, I was greeted by Shawntavia and she got started on putting on the extensions right away. About an hour and a half later, she was done and I was thrilled with my new, beautiful lashes! As it was my first time getting them, I wanted lashes on the more natural yet still noticeable side and she gave me exactly what I was hoping for! From the short time I spent with Shawntavia, I could tell she's a genuinely kind person, takes pride in what she does, wants you to be happy with the results, and is absolutely gorgeous inside and out! If I lived in the Houston area, I would get my eyelashes done by her regularly! If you do live in Houston/Spring/The Woodlands, or even if you're just visiting, get your lashes done at Cio Bela. Had my first set of eyelashes. Karen did an amazing job and took her time carefully and meticulously placing each lash. Also helped with after care instructions which were super helpful! Definitely going back for my refill! I would say the only reason I didn't give 5 stars was location. The small salon is located inside a hair salon which was tough to find. It's a small shop which is kinda hard to find at first but very cute. My lash technician was very nice and made sure I was comfortable. She was gentle when applying the lashes and played soft smoothing music. Her seat you sit in is so comfortable I almost always fall asleep. The some of the lashes fall out kinda fast at first but no matter how many lashes fall it always look very natural as a whole. Other than that no complaints. :) read more

I went there because the reviews were good. The price was inexpensive. The technician was sweet. She had no pictures showing various looks available as had been my experience at another studio. She did say she would apply faux mink extensions. I noticed that she applied uncomfortable pressure to my forehead and nose while applying the lashes. After the application, the lashes looked shorter than expected, much like real lashes with mascara. One side all fell out at one week. Minor rubbing on the other side, and they were all out also. I was disappointed and will not return. I had had real mink extensions at another salon and will return there. You get what you pay for. read more

I normally get my lashes elsewhere but since this place was close to work, I decided to try it out. The salon doesn't have the cleanest feel to it, but Shawntavia was very nice & did everything to make me feel comfortable. The next day after my appointment, several of the lashes fell out. After a week, they were all almost completely gone. I have been getting extensions for over a year and never had this problem before. After contacting her and explaining that all the lashes had fallen out, I was told I would only be charged for a refill. I didn't think that was right considering they were falling out the very next day. Needless to say, I won't be returning here. read more

I did a Groupon here to try lash extensions. The technician was very nice. The space is very small -a room inside a hair saloon (This wasn't communicated to me when I booked the appointment so I drove around looking for a Cio Bela sign). The room does not have a "clean" feel to it, although I didn't have any issues with my lashes in that area. After doing research and trying a different salon, I found that I didn't have the correct lash curve and length for my eye shape, and I was given very little instructions on cleaning and up-keep of the lashes at either of my visits with this tech. Since it was a brand new thing for me I had no idea how to care for them, so I asked questions. I was only told about the 24 hr. No water rule. Therefore, the first refill fell out quickly. I admire the tech for going out on her own in business. But I suggest some tweaks to make it a bit more professional. All-in-all I chose to switch to a full-service lash salon. read more
