Trailfolk is actually tucked inside the Basecamp Hotel, but keep going because there is good food in there, I promise. They had a sign out front confirming it when we walked up. We grabbed breakfast tacos and fresh-pressed juice, and both were delicious. The tacos were flavorful, a little greasy, but exactly the kind of breakfast you want after a late night at a concert. The salsa was delicious. Their juices are pressed, and you can absolutely taste the difference from something poured out of a bottle. We sat outside, which was a little cold, but the fires they had made it worth it. It's a fun little find that probably would have been completely missed without Yelp. Good food, fresh juice, cute Tahoe coffee-shop vibes hidden in a hotel lobby. Definitely worth wandering inside.

She did see some type of potato bowl on the menu that we came back for the next day and I decided to try the Nutella toast but sub peanut butter instead which you could add for 1$ but I don't like Nutella. And when I tell you I am a peanut butter baby that means what it means. So when there was too much peanut butter on the toast how is that possible....? But there just was. It weighed the bread down. I don't think it was very toasted unfortunately. I liked it but had to try to get some of the PB off so I didn't choke. My best friend likes her bowl, but the opposite happened to her she got the sliced hard boiled egg whereas she thought it would be scrambled although admitted to not closely reading the menu. Overall a strange couple days but will most likely return on future Tahoe visits because it's simple and fast and decently priced for the area.

They work hard to find great quality disc golf supplies and bring in new stuff regularly. The employees are also generally knowledgeable about the game and can provide advice when you need it. I think the pricing is a bit above what you may find online, but very fair overall especially compared to other physical disc golf stores in the area. My only gripe with Cafe Disque is the "cafe" portion. Sometimes they don't have the cafe side of things running and other times I've been truly disappointed with the quality of beverages up for offer. Once my wife and I had a very disappointing iced latte and most recently I was bummed to see that the chilled beverage fridge was nearly empty other than a few energy drinks and some water. Overall, Cafe Disque is an awesome store for disc golf discs and equipment. But, there are better places in the area to grab your coffee. I have been to So Juicy a small handful of times, but most recently was to check out the smoothie and juice selection. I have always been put off by the pricing here. It's nearly $10 for a juice or a smoothie. Many other reviews mention the high pricing, and many reviews also mention that the portion sizes are mediocre. I agree with that. While the juices and smoothies are good, the high prices deter me from returning. Comparing So Juicy to another local shop that recently opened in Gardnerville, that place wins in both selection, taste, and pricing. The service here can also be iffy. Sometimes they are super fast and kind. Other times, it seems that they are irritated that you walked in. I have never been here when it's busy. It's almost always deserted when I visit. If you choose to hang out, they do have many large tables inside. So Juicy is 100% better than a chain shop like Keva or Jamba, but I think there is certainly room for improvement in both service and pricing.

The server that served my dad, my sister's boyfriend, and myself was fanominal. The ice cream was exquisite and balanced throughtout the whole time eating it. They are extremely popular back there. This Carvel shares the kiosk with a Cinnabon, as the two companies apparently have a marketing agreement. The menu is a bit smaller than a standalone. Carvel would be, but there are still some great choices. I decided to go with the classic, the "carvelanche". Their amazing soft serve, with your choice of mix- in. I chose vanilla/chocolate twist, with Oreo cookies. It was huge, it was creamy , it was amazing, and it took me right back. It tasted just like I remember. This wasn't your standard soft serve. Plus, they were very generous with the Oreo cookie mix-ins. The price was very reasonable. Now that apparently Carvel is sharing kiosks with Cinnabon, hopefully I will see more, and I will have more access to them. I love my Carvel. Thanks!
