Ice cream for breakfast? Don't judge me. I'm on vacation... When I walked into Caesars Republic, I was absolutely * THRILLED!* I had not been to a Carvel since I was back in New York. They are extremely popular back there. This Carvel shares the kiosk with a Cinnabon, as the two companies apparently have a marketing agreement. The menu is a bit smaller than a standalone. Carvel would be, but there are still some great choices. I decided to go with the classic, the "carvelanche". Their amazing soft serve, with your choice of mix- in. I chose vanilla/chocolate twist, with Oreo cookies. It was huge, it was creamy , it was amazing, and it took me right back. It tasted just like I remember. This wasn't your standard soft serve. Plus, they were very generous with the Oreo cookie mix-ins. The price was very reasonable. Now that apparently Carvel is sharing kiosks with Cinnabon, hopefully I will see more, and I will have more access to them. I love my Carvel. Thanks! read more

Slower than a herd of snails going through peanut butter. Decent ice cream concoction with Heath bar mixed in. Ordered and paid for regular but they gave me a small instead. Realized it, told them and they made it right. Issue was they advertise Reese's PB cups as one of their add-ins...nope, only Reese's Pieces...don't care what they say...not the same. Wife said okay mix in Butterfinger instead...nope Butterfinger was only for shakes....huh? No explanation why... read more

This is not the Carvel of my memories. I was looking for a sweet treat when I was up at Heavenly and saw Carvel listed on Yelp! So excited as it's been YEARS since I had Carvel (love me some Fudgie the Whale cakes) and drug my wife over to their location. First off - it was a pain to find. Even the hotel employees couldn't tell me where it was as I asked several while wandering aimlessly through the hotel. That should have been a hint to avoid. We got there and realized it's connected to a Cinnabon. They should stick to Cinnabon because their Carvel side of things is gross. I had a vanilla ice cream with Oreo's mixed in. The Oreo's were stale.. beyond stale... and made the entire serving taste gross as they were blended throughout the ice cream. I took a few bites, trying to place the weird flavor, and once I realized it was the stale factor of the cookies I threw the entire thing in the trash. Not worth the stop at all. Avoid and go to Cold Stone which is just a short walk up the street! read more

The ice cream is regular ice cream but fairly priced they are conveniently located on the back side Harveys. A good place to go to fix your sweet tooth . They also have a small little table so you can sit down and eat your ice cream which is nice because it's kind of a long walk through the casino read more

Three different serving methods for three toppings on an ice cream base. I ask for one of the three toppings [non-perishable, mind you] and they are "all out, but we also have...". Yeah, I can read. Can you stock? Also, how hard is it to stay in front of the counter rather than in the back? I tried to order from them twice, and the first time no one showed up for 5 mins of waiting. I can't speak for the quality of their product but the hours should be updated. They were definitely closed at 2am like everything else in Harvey's. The casino as a whole should do better than one buffet across the street. read more

Me and my family went in tired and came out energetic and happy. G the person who served us made are night amazing. We got there and he was so friendly and overall happy. Some of the best customer service I have ever received. He made me laugh so hard I was almost in tears. You can tell with his personality he loves his job. Ice cream was great I had a milkshake with Reesie's peanut butter cup. We will definitely make the Drive out to see him again. Overall I highly recommend this spot for a late night dessert he made our trip 10 times better. read more

This is a great place to go if you are wanting a delicious ice cream splurge! The people who work there are great and really nice. The ice cream is really good, and creamy. If you like dairy queen, this is a higher quality dairy queen. The only problem is that it is hard to find where it is because it is in the basement of Harvey's. Beware of the sizes there, the small is a regular ice cream places' medium or large. But overall, it is awesome ice cream! read more

When I found out that a local Carvel opened we were so excited. Carvel is an East Coast treat and now we get to enjoy the ice cream here in town. We have been twice and it is so yummy!
