Came from the states and decided to catch a movie. Everyone was extremely nice and the prices were decent.

When I was visiting friends and family, my cousin offered to take the group of us out for a movie. The theatres are very similar to most Cineplex Odeon theatres around minus an awesome IMAX screen and the amenities were short, meaning they had less concession stands to absolutely rip you off. My cousin purchased the tickets and I felt bad because I didn't want him paying for all of us...then I found out 4 movie tickets were $21 on cheap night. SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?!?!?! 2 movie tickets in TO or Ottawa on cheap night are slightly less than that price. Absolutely fantastic price for Cineplex theatres. read more

The Cineplex in Niagara Falls is our main movie hotspot and we really enjoy it. I have been going here most of my life and have never had any complaints. With 10 screens they always have all the latest movies playing. They have AVX theaters which are my favourite (I love the chairs in there). They also show all movies in 2D which is really nice since Amanda can't watch 3D. The theaters themselves are always clean and well taken care of. I have been to other theaters (including other Cinelpexs) that have had damaged seats or weren't cleaned but in Niagara Falls I have always found them to be in tip top shape. The food is and snacks are good here but are 'theater priced' as we like to call it. All in all Cineplex in Niagara Falls is a great place to see a movie and we will be back again soon. read more

How to book a birthday parry at the Cineplex. 1. Call the Cineplex. 2. Choose Option 4 from the menu. (Get told to go online at cineplex.com) 3. Go to cineplex.com and complete form. 4. Wait 4 weeks until you can fill the form because they take reservations 6 weeks from today only. 5. Get up early 6 weeks before the day of your kid's birthday to go online. 6. Go to cinplex.com, pick a package and fill the form. 7. Press send and read that someone from the Cineplex will call you to confirm. 8. Be available for that 1 call, because they do not leave a message. 9. Wait a few days and call back to confirm 10. Oh wait, they're all booked... Tell your kid, sorry no movie party for you. They're now booked until the end of January, which is more than 6 weeks from now... So no movie party for you my child... I know you told your friends, tell them Dad lied. This is my new second home. No really, I spend a lot of hours here. I am at my home the most, and then here a close second. The home gets the advantage because that's where my bed is, otherwise it would be neck and neck. I love the cheap tickets. On cheap Tuesdays, you get to use your Scene card and the ticket is under 5 bucks. What! And although it is busy on Tuesdays, for those coming from Toronto like myself it isn't really all that bad. The fact that the ticket prices are almost the third of the price as those theaters is pretty rad. I've only ever had one time where the theater 3d wasn't working, but they did fix it and then comped us afterwards. The rest of the time the experience has been pleasant and relatively clean. read more

I was in Niagara Falls for work and had already seen the falls and thought that the touristy section was horrible (one of the worst places on earth) so I decided to go to the movies to see something mindless (Get Him To the Greek). The place was PACKED! Even though it was packed, the line moved pretty quick. I get up there and the price of a ticket was 4.20. Uhm 4.20. uh. Ok. I ask the girl working if it's always that cheap and she said that it's only that cheap on Tuesdays (which was why it was so packed). The concession line was not moving at all, but since I only wanted a soda and not popcorn, I went to another counter that didn't sell popcorn, they only sold sodas and other random stuff (like pizza for instance) so that was fine. The theater wasn't too packed so I found a pretty good seat even though I got there just as the previews were starting. The temperature was good and the sound/picture were good. Overall, I give this place 2 thumbs up. I'd have given them more stars except it seemed a little dirty around places the concession area and trash cans (that hadn't been emptied in a while), but the price made up for that business. No movie theaters around Atlanta ever have deals like that. read more

Great theaters. Love having birthday parties here. About the same price as doing many other birthday activities, with hardly any hassle.

Tickets here were really decently priced. Although I didn't eat anything, the concessions seemed to be inviting and varied. The theater that I watched a movie in had a good view from every seat as the screen was exceptionally large. My only negative is that the seats aren't very comfortable as the back portion is too vertical to relax. This movie theater was easy to find, had ample parking, and was clean and inviting. Purchase tickets from the clerk or from the automated machine in the vestibule. read more

Visiting from the states. Close to our hotel. Theatre was clean and good snack options. Easy parking. Only complaint was that it was extremely cold in the theatre. Had to ask management to warm it up. Wasn't until halfway through that the temperature adjusted to above freezing. Best part two tickets for a Monday evening movie was $9.63. I've had many good experiences at this theatre, usually had no troubles at all. However tonight upon walking up to the booth to hand my ticket over (I was going to see "the nun", rated 14A, and I am 14, turning 15 in May) I was greeted with a hand stopping me from passing through, (I had already given my ticket and thought not issue of it) And an employee, roughly in his mid 60s, glasses, slightly long hair with a beard asked me if I was in a group, I was with several of my friends, all of which same age. And when I responded with "Yeah them over there" And pointed at my friends he instantly responded in a frustrated tone "Them over there doesn't help me with anything" And then told me he was confiscating my ticket until I had someone to prove I was 14, He said "By the looks of it, it doesn't look like you have any form of ID on you" which he was right, but the way he implied it, following a brief investigation of me, seemed to me as though he thought I was a careless kid. After my friends had finished purchasing their food and drinks, and proceeded to come over, he just told me to go in because he saw what I meant, but before I entered he stopped me and told me: "If you're in high school you should have some sort of card, and if you don't. Get some form of ID, Or don't come out" basically to me it seems as though he was telling me off. Bear in mind that my school only did picture day for student cards three days before I'm writing this. And my school has 1500 kids in it. I'm no genius but it should take some time to make 1500 individual student cards. I do have a Nexus card, however I never have it on me, because I'm never ID'd for anything, nor would I even wonder why I'd need to present some form of ID unless I was needed to by law enforcement should that be the case. I don't know if I caught the guy on a bad day, but I think more to the contrary, as one of my friends informed me that he gave him trouble once too, as well as his friends. I didn't bother taking his name, as it seemed like such a minor inconvenience, but if I ever happen to see him again. I'll be sure to take his name down if anything is to happen. read more

ok so its cheap night at the movies, but since when does that mean treat the movie goers with little to no respect??? they pay your wages ya' know! the line up was huge, the place smelled of burnt popcorn and weed, there was pop corn on the floor at the concession stand, the stairs to go up to our seats had something that looked like cat vomit on them, and they had the A/C in the theater... now i know that its best to keep the room cool as there is normally a ton of people in there... but serious when there is little kids in there and they are telling there moms that its cold and the mom gets them to put their jackets on ya know its bad.. i even was cuddling up to my man, and i was wishing i had an extra layer of clothing on. the garbages were over flowing at all bins that we passed and the ladies room had T.P. in only 1 stall by the end of the night..dont ya think that youd keep the garbages empty and the paper stocked?? i guess not! read more
