I have been to over 100 haunted houses. Here is everything you need to know about Fright Haven…read more This haunt is run by people who love all things fun and scary, and a lot is put into their productions. It is entirely indoors where walk through a large maze in a warehouse. It's the largest indoor haunt in CT, one of the biggest in all of New England. This is great if the weather is wet, cold, etc. But it also leaves something lacking that outdoor venues have. Adjust your expectations accordingly. They sell VIP passes, but I don't think you need them unless you're going at the peak busy time (like 9pm on a Saturday) or you just hate waiting in line. I personally have found wait times are no longer than 30 minutes or so, and it's fun talking with people in line as your blood gets going. I have not been there at a crazy busy time, but I have not seen the line so long it stretches outside. I'd rank it 4 out of 5 as far as how scary it is. There are more scary haunts, but this one will make you jump for sure. There's not a great deal of electronic, or mechanical effects, with more effort put into the talent, and creating cool sets. One section has a slew of mirrors that is really trippy, another section is 3D, etc. It should be known this group is so passionate that they have scares almost year round. When Halloween is over they offer a 18+ event called Blind Rage where the actors can touch you in a completely dark maze that is not for the timid. At Christmas they offer a twisted Nightmare Xmas haunt, when February comes around they change over to a Bloody Valentine haunt. They've also had St. Patrick's Day, a Friday the 13th camp like set, a Halloween in summer haunt, and more that are as fun as they are scary. So if you're someone who can't get enough when Halloween is over, follow them on social media. These "off season" haunts frequently sell out (believe it or not) so make sure you plan and buy tickets early!

The museum itself isn't that big physically, and is in a bunker attached to a working airport. Small plans, and you can see them land and take-off at the end of the museum. Do not go outside without a docent. The museum may be small, but is FULL of artifacts about WWII, Connecticut airplane production, and other wars as well. Items are well marked with explanations, and there are several full sized plans and helicopters. You can't go into them, but you can see inside. There is a restroom for patrons. There's no AC, but several powerful fans.

I'm not really into aviation history, but I saw this place online and thought I'd check it out!…read moreWhat a cool spot! Here's the scoop on this hidden gem: The CT Air & Space Center is located right next to the Sikorsky Memorial Airport in Stratford (if you go out the back door of the museum building, you'll actually be on the airport property). Free parking is available in the lot in front of the building. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for veterans, and $5 for children 6-12. The museum is currently only open Saturdays and Sundays 10AM-4PM. The museum itself is fairly small, but there's a lot to see! Inside you'll find vintage aircraft and airplane memorabilia and artifacts related to CT's aviation history. The main display piece is a restored Corsair fighter plane, and they also have a few military helicopters. There are additional planes and a larger helicopter outside, you just need to ask a staff member to accompany you, as it is a working airport. You're even allowed to sit in the cockpit of one of the planes, the 1973 Cessna 150 that says "Conn Motor Club" on the side. The museum is staffed entirely by volunteers who are all very friendly and knowledgeable. I'd recommend asking one of the staff members to show you around, so they can tell you the history behind the different aircrafts. One of the most interesting things I learned was about Gustave Whitehead of Bridgeport, CT, who, according to some evidence, flew an aircraft in 1901 and 1902, which would have predated the Wright Brothers first flight in 1903. While small, the museum is currently working to restore the 1929 Curtiss Flying School Hangar (located right next to the current building), and this would allow for the museum to expand and have more room to display their aircrafts. Overall a very cool and interesting place, stop by and help support them in preserving CT's aviation history!

It's like living a life full of magic...but without the make believe ;) Alexander showed me my primary purpose, my gift to give, and how I specifically give that gift. Knowing this and more, I am now able to live my life from a place of indescribable joy and ease, knowing that I'm now playing my cards right. Whew. After all, what more in life are you expected to do? That may sound like a crazy statement, but I guarantee you'll feel the same way after your meeting with Alexander. He showed me my blind spots, my weaknesses, but also the high points, my strengths and how to leverage it all and play my cards right! Almost by accident, you learn to accept yourself completely and enjoy who you are. There really is no bigger gift you can give to yourself than going to see Alexander. I can't really describe in words what it means to me to know my life so well, to know my purpose with such clarity and then to live from that place. And Alexander himself is such a kind-hearted person, with such a warm and loving presence that he is the perfect person to help you embrace how you were meant to live your life. Sometimes I literally have to stop and just sit in the appreciation that I now know the meaning of my life. Thanks, Alexander!

Since the session I've been looking at how I can sabotage myself, and the cards gave me information to assist me to turn it all around.. An uplifting, deep reading that basically gives you the blue print of who you are and why you are here and how you can serve best... Thank you Alexander!

The two associates at the front were super helpful and patient as well, you had to sign up for a waiting list for the virtual reality and they made sure everybody got a chance. My nephew is autistic and they were really patient with him which I appreciated. The reason for the 4 star review is the fact that it was expensive for three of us and not a lot of exhibits. It was hands one which I loved but the main reason we went there was for the drones and they were broken when we got there. I am hoping to go back when the drones are available but for the price, not sure yet. The kids had a really nice time though.

The magnetic wall and the car activities were great, flying the drone was so much fun (well, more like crashing it). Blocks, building of structures, coloring and some electric circuit building activities were available. Ages range - our 3 year old loved it. Some older kids were into the VR and 3D printer pens, and other activities. The price is good - 15 for all day of adventures was reasonable. The space was smallish but airy and bright and clean. There were no bathrooms on the premises but there is one outside behind the stores. It's rather inconvenient when kids are playing and don't want to stop. Overall, we loved the space and would go back again.
