I went here for a movie. It was great until.... These high school kids were being obnoxious from the beginning. He had a laptop open at first. I didn't say anything because I was going to wait until the movie actually started. Then, when it did, he tried to shake a 2L of soda, to do who knows what .... Spray it I'm sure. I made a comment. He stopped for a bit. Later on my girlfriend and I were still being bothered by them. He kept farting on her and turning to her going, "Do you like the smell?" I finally (half way through), spoke up and said something. A tenant followed me in and then didn't say a word to them. We ended up leaving the theater. I DID get a receipt to come back to another show time, which is great. HOWEVER, I tried calling to talk to someone about some other things I witnessed, and I was placed on hold. Then I called back and was hung up on 5 times and placed on hold another. Whoever was working during this shift really didn't give a shit. I get it man, you're working a low paying job, in school, young, but most of us did all that too. Grow a pair and do your job. Mind you the staff was great in the beginning and friendly. But when it came down to it, they weren't answering and hanging up the phone on purpose. read more

I had a great time here. I went to see the Demon slayer movie with a group of about 50 people. We organize an event here in Cinemark helped us a lot that you provided us with a table so that we can get the crowd in and out. All of the drinks and popcorn is very reasonable. When I went to the movies, they had a special for $25 when you got a large drink and a large popcorn for the collectible item. And they even offered to give me the collectible items separately and put my popcorn and drink in a regular container. That way it wouldn't mess it up. I also plan on going there to see the new he-man movie. But this theater is very organized I would say that the seats and the layout is very old school. They don't have recliner chairs and don't have much elbow room but for the overall experience, it was pretty good. read more

Ok I never go to the movies, but despite this theatre being somewhat new it had a couple of negs. 1) the movie was late starting and no one from the theatre informed us. Another patron ended up leaving the theatre to find out what was happening. 2) the seats share a cup holder and armrest with your neighbor. It made it awkward sitting next someone I didn't know and I felt like I was bothering her everytime I reached for my drink. Every seat should have 2 individual armrests and more space in between. (Maybe some seats can be designated as cozy ones). 3) bathroom trash was overflowing. Otherwise the seats were somewhat comfy and even can be heated. I loved being able to reserve what seat I wanted ahead of time and you can order food too. Oh and they have beer and wine! Nothing is better than popcorn and beer for dinner haha! read more

Decided to try this theater out, instead of the AMC 24, when visiting our Navy Sailor for his liberty pass this past weekend. We made this decision due to not being impressed with the sticky floors, or seats in the lower end theaters at AMC. I ordered the tickets online to avoid missing out on the show due to living in Ocala. For the most part, the place was clean, except the overflowing garbage cans in the restroom; however, I do feel it necessary to mention that workers waited until people were seated during the 20 to clean up from the previous audience. They do have the larger reclining seats, which apparently have heat, but my seat G15 in theater 8 did not work. They did have more options in the concession stand with a kitchen, which was good, but the over-priced concessions and newer movies failing to impress are the reasons why people aren't going to theaters anymore. Just wait for the movies to be available on your streaming channels, which is the way the business is going anyway. read more

The Cinemark in Durbin Pavillion is always clean, and the staff very friendly and helpful. The reclining loungers are very comfortable, and some of them have heat, so when the AC is high, it comes in handy. Their snacks could be a little improved. Pizza, ok, but not the greatest. Many of the other snacks (except for the Nacho chips) are not available all of the time. Popcorn is always fresh. read more

This Cinemark has been open a few years and I've seen roughly five movies at this theater. I loved that it was so close to my house. I can drive there in less than 10 minutes. Most recently, I've seen Top Gun and Jesus Revolution. Top Gun was a no-brainer as this movie was one better seen and felt in the theater. I loved how the Dolby speakers made me feel like I was on the aircraft as I felt the engines in my core. The most recent movie I watched was Jesus Revolution. This movie would have been fine watching at home. However, I wanted to support the movie makers with my money in the theater. What an awesome movie! I highly suggest it. I purchased my ticket online the day before so I could get a good seat. I do think it's unfair to charge a fee for purchasing online. After all, I'm saving you money by doing so. Plus, the theater knows I'm coming ahead of time. You can also order snacks online and either pick up at the counter or have your food and drinks delivered to your seat. The reclining seats were lovely and gave me the perception of sitting in my living room. The screen was huge and the sound system was most impressive. The last couple times I went to the movies there the chips nachos that I ordered or still I got another bag because one of the bag was open, and that was still and the price you pay for the food qualities is not as great. The business doesn't offer by combos and a discount. It's somewhat clean for the seats, but I don't know how much time they got between the movies to clean the theater always have to clean my chair before I go in and watch a movie. Those areas could be improved a lot and I think there should be more special offers for people that do not have coupons all the time And the prices of the merchandise should be changed way too expensive. Also, I think the dealer should open a little bit earlier and close a little bit later for those that work more than a 9 to 5 or to graveyard shift and try to catch a movie. read more

This Cinemark is very nice... Not really a whole lot to say as it's not that different than the other newer Cinemarks. Clean, helpful staff, nice that they have a bar area. We enjoyed the soft leather heated recliners with our movie. I don't think I got hot or even shifted in them. Definitely I good edition to that side of town. read more

We already made plans to have dinner at Atlantic Boulevard and since we are in the area, decided to visit the new location of Cinemark and avail of their buy one get one promo! Yes to BOGO! We bought tickets to watch Free Guy. The place is somewhat similar to the Durbin location but bigger and more spacious plus they have a game room and a lounge. We wanted to order the chicken wings but it was not yet available, so we opted to buy our favorite Chili Cheese fries. Oh my goodness it was a LOT lol! Definitely so much more than the other locations! We enjoyed it! One thing I noticed was that even though all seats can be reclined and have heaters, there is no table to place your food. I guess that would be the major difference of Durbin from all other Cinemarks. Having a table is so convenient when eating while watching a movie. Oh well, it's a good thing we live near Durbin. I just wish Cinemark will have a better offer for their members. Their deals are not as good compared to AMC or Regal. read more

Worst customer service ever. First interaction was with the concessions and she had zero personality and seeemwd to hate being there. Next was some random associate in the theater. The associate came at me rude about what seats I was in when we were in an empty theater. Not polite but accused me like I didn't have tickets. Also if I get a fountain soda and it has zero syrup why don't you fix it?!? I let someone know and he was too deep in watching a movie on his phone to help. Very nice theater. It is very clean and well set up. The cleaners that come through after every movie does a great job. I love the fact that the chairs are comfortable and recline. You don't have to worry about any one kicking you from the back. The seats are a little to close for me but is workable. Restrooms are easy to find and was clean. This movie theater is very modern, new and has all the amenities. My mom really enjoyed it, she hasn't been to a theater yet with the reclining chairs and absolutely loved it. We watched Encanto which was in a smaller theater but it was super comfortable and relaxing. We did have to wait a long time for our pretzel botes to be cooked which was odd and the lobby area was a bit of a mess with food and things about but it was late and a holiday so i hope it was just a staffing issue. read more

This new theater is beautiful and in such a good location whether you live at the beaches or in town. Everything is sparkling clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Arrived early for our movie and felt like a teenager again playing in the awesome arcade. Bathrooms are nice and clean and the lobby is spacious and clean as well. Lots of elbow room to socially distance even when in line. Free drink refills! *Score* Speaking of drinks, it was a little early for me but they do also have a nice bar for the adult drinks and a full concession stand. Come during the day if you're not comfortable with large crowds yet. There were probably only 8 other people in the whole theater watching the same movie as us and we pretty much had a row to ourselves. I did appreciate that outside the theater doors, they provided sanitizing wipes if you wanted to wipe your seat down for yourself, though it looked and smelled clean already. It was so nice to watch a movie in an actual theater again! read more

WOW this is the nicest movie theater I've ever been to. My friend suggested we go here for the new Barbie movie opening weekend. First impression was that the huge parking lot was so brightly lit. I walked in and noticed all of the self serve kiosks. The theater was very big and very clean! The employees were nice and joked with us about the Barbie movie. My friend ordered the tickets ahead of time, so all we had to do was show the tickets on her phone to the attendant. We got popcorn first and my friend got an icee. The icee and drink machines were self serve. They had the Coke machines with a video screen that you can pick exactly what kind of pop and flavor you want. We went in the theater and were surprised how small this one was. There were probably only 40 or 50 seats in the whole theater. The chairs recline and were so comfortable! There is a button that heats your seat!! It was very cushy. The bathrooms when we left were spotless. 10/10 for this movie theater experience. Definitely will go out of our way to visit this theater again! read more

The movie theatre is incredible. The amenities are so good, it's almost feels like you are watching a movie at home. My wife and I were there to see the new Black Panther movie, the reclining lounge chairs are so great, you can easily fall asleep, trust me, I dozed off last night. The smell of freshly popped popcorn, the candy, the soda,the costumes true fans would wear. It was and still is about the experience. This newly built theater is keeping the tradition alive. I love this movie theater!! It is always so nice, clean, and cozy. It is well lit both day and night. They have a ton of times. You can join their movie rewards for 2% off concessions and the movie club you get a ticket every month for I believe 9 dollars. So.... there are 2 Yelp pages for this theater. FYI. Brand new theater is a wonderful addition to the Kernan-Atlantic intersection. First thing I noticed missing was no ticketing boxes outside. Nope- you buy tickets online or in theater on kiosks. The next thing I realized is that the concessions are available before showing your ticket for the movie! AKA- you could technically pop in for popcorn and that's it. This was funny because I had a family member who would have LOVED this feature. Access to theater popcorn without having to see a movie- oh boy. John and I have been numerous times now. I am a movie club member- pay monthly fee and get one ticket plus 20% off concessions. Win win. Our most recent theater outings was for the new Spiderman- on Christmas day- I don't know why, but I enjoy going to the theater for Christmas. Being stuck at home all day is just not my thing, if it's not a movie- I like escaping to the beach or a park. I also went the very next day again with my visiting son to see Sing 2- yes, I know, I'm too old for it- but the music was awesome and it was a fun movie to watch. Staff is always friendly. They adequately staff extra people for busier days- I can only assume advance ticket sales gives management a heads up to when they are going to need extra staff. The theater seats are the cocooned recliners that even have heated seats! Plus the armrest can lift up so you can snuggle with your movie date or little kids. I especially love the numbers printed on the seats so there is no confusion. I highly recommend this theater. read more
