I went to the theater to catch a movie before it left the theaters. Went to a matinee movie. Wasn't super busy for a holiday. Bought our tickets online easy inconvenient and just scanned the barcode to get in. There's a large selection of snacks and candies for the movie goer. Short line plenty of workers to help guests. They have a AMC movie club perks, which I didn't choose to be a part of. The theater was clean leather seats that reclined large screen. We enjoyed our movie time! read more

We came to this theater for the first time today to see the new Mission Impossible movie. The theater is very big and very nice. They have twenty theaters in all, including an IMAX theater, which we were in. The lobby is very big with plenty of food options, including a bar. We would definitely return here to see another movie. read more

It's incredibly spacious, and the reclining seats are so comfortable, they make the whole experience feel extra special. If you sign up to be a Stubs member, you can get movie tickets for 50% off on Tuesdays and Wednesday, which is an amazing deal, especially since going to the movies has become a bit pricey. I recently went to see The Fantastic Four here and was thrilled to see a giant cardboard movie poster for photo ops, along with themed merchandise and food. I grabbed a mystery The Fantastic Four collectible bag clip and tried the Orange Rock Punch, which were both such a fun addition to the night! Overall, a fantastic experience. read more

I purchased tickets for a 10:15am movie. The doors are locked. I saw two employees inside. Did not even acknowledge me or the other customers outside. It is like whatevwr they were doing was more important than us. I called several times and no answer. read more

This is a great theater, despite it being next to a dead shopping mall. Candidly, it was a lot easier to find tickets versus other theaters in the area, and they have all the top movies. We saw Mission Impossible, which they had in both standard digital theaters, Dolby theaters and IMAX. Everybody's attitude was terrific, especially the man taking tickets as we entered - I didn't get his name, but he's a gentleman in a wheelchair and he was as enthusiastic and energetic as anybody I've seen in the service industry, and very quick with a joke. As we watched the movie, I wasn't bothered by sound from any other theater, which sometimes happens at other multiplex locations. The viewing audience was diverse, the theater was practically full, yet everybody was quiet and respectful during the movie. Tickets are available at the theater either through the kiosk or the ticket window, we bought our tickets in advance online for a small convenience fee. I can't comment on the concession stand, since we stopped for lunch before the movie, but everything looked good. There was a line at the restrooms after the movie, but even the lines moved quickly. With plenty of free parking in the lot, a modern and well air conditioned theater, and friendly staff this is a wonderful choice when seeing movies in the Jacksonville area. read more

Watched JWORLD. A little kid responds to a movie character who yelled ' hello! ' The little baby responds ' hello' out loud and everyone in the theater laughs . Never going back. I'm honestly shocked that the theater allows people to bring babies into adult movies. And if you do bring a baby, the least you can do is step out when they start crying. The whole experience was ruined by inconsiderate people -- not just the baby crying, but even the person next to me who ate one piece of popcorn at a time with their mouth open for the entire movie. Some people have zero awareness or respect for others. It was frustrating and not worth the money. read more

This is my go to theater in JAX...the chairs may have a little west but I have never had a broken one. The theaters and bathrooms are always clean. The staff is always friendly and efficient. Never a bad time in this theater. McMuffins way overpriced but at least they don't pour you a weak drink. read more

Theater very hot during heatwave August 1, 2025 and was not cleaned up from previous movie goers... napkins, popcorn, wrappers and bags in the last 2 rows. Very uncomfortable ... like going to a hotel and finding the beds unchanged and unmade. Lastly they removed all seating in hall ways to theaters making it very difficult for handicapped or people with leg injuries. This was a very disappointing experience for our group of 4. Add costs for disappointment... priceless! read more

I saw the premiere of Furiosa last night. The air conditioning in our specific theater didn't work. Upon informing the staff, they said they couldn't do anything about it. Truly felt like we were in the wasteland. Also, the ceiling tiles rattled with every rev of an engine. The one nice thing I can say about this place is that I've never had an unpleasant interaction with any of the workers. This most recent experience convinced me to cancel my AMC membership and seek refuge elsewhere. There's been issues with this theater in the past, but I've sort of brushed them off because I know theaters were struggling during the pandemic. Now, however, it's been long enough that the simple stuff needs to be fixed. read more

I took a family member to a movie as part of a birthday experience. The online ordering worked fine and the entry with the confirmation on my phone was great. I really like the recliners. There's no crevices that a purse or sunglasses will fall between the seating and the chairs are super comfy. I'm a popcorn fan and preordered the giant tub. I would have liked an option for two smaller sodas rather than one giant one. We know the snacks are how the theaters make money, so I get the pricing. But kids can't make it through the picture without a potty break with such an abundance of liquid. It's not like we can put the movie on pause. When it comes to comfy seating AMC definitely have the advantage with this recliners. The ability to have them go all the way back and allow the center armrest to come up for a "love seat" is a great feature. There was no worrying about flaking of the head rest (like in cinnamax theaters) which was very disturbing and gross. The down fall of this location was the lack of respect of guest who saw ( or lack of didn't pay attention to) the movie. It was an 800 pm movie R rated and looked like many in attendance where 16 and younger. Kids talking and yelling throughout the movie, running up and down the isles, when others who where actually trying to watch the movie (told them to be quite or shushed them) they used profanity back. Total lack of respect. I must of had on 4 different instances kids hit my feet while I was reclined going back and forth seat hopping. When we first showed up, a kid was sitting in our seats and I told him politely and showed him our tickets that this was our seats. He looked at me like I had 2 heads. I probably will not go back to this location. There should of been staff monitoring. The movie was awful too Halloween Kills. Save you $14 or watch it on your fire stick. I just thought it would of been nice to get out and catch a movie on the Big Screen. Oh well. read more

Movie world and fun! What a wonderful place and time. Just went to see the new live action of Aladdin and it took me back to childhood days and moments. With comfy seating and different kinds of viewing you just can't go wrong. Located- 9451 Regency Square Blvd Jax Florida 32225. Right near and behind the regency mall. Huge theatre with cool selections. From 3D to imax theatre seating. Your choice on how to view your movie. Walking towards the movie theatre I had already pre booked seating on my phone so all I had to do was get my code scanned. Having gotten the 3D choice I was so shocked to see how the seating was. I felt I was at home. With leather comfy seating in pairs and recliners I felt like I was in heaven. Seats are so comfy and adjustable whether you want to lay back or even just prop up your feet. You can adjust all this to your liking. Something I noticed also was that the theatre as a whole was very clean. Everything was also organized. Navigating the place was so simple and of course the surround system was amazing. The drinks were the computerized touch screen machine with over 50 different flavors. Of course the snacks of popcorn and nachos were always fresh. Aladdin definitely didn't disappoint since I was such a childhood fan! Thanks AMC for making everything so memorable! read more

Probably my favorite movie theater I come here almost every weekend I would say a year ago before covid I did come every weekend if movies came out as much as I did before I would continue to come as much as I did obviously. I've been going here for about 3 years. But the service here was always great I feel like I have had everything on the menu already. I am part of the a-list subscription which is about $21.95 a month I think and I get three movies a weekend any movie type. If you're looking for a recommendation of what food that is a good deal. My favorite thing on the menu is the Bavarian Legend Pretzel, which is about $16.99. Yes that sounds expensive but the thing is huge probably the biggest pretzel I've had at any other place. They usually serve it with spicy mustard and a tub of cheese. Only reason I'm giving it four stars is I feel like maybe it's getting kind of old some of the seats that I am I've assigned to are kind of beat up and don't work obviously this is only in the theaters that aren't being used as much and the movie has been out for a while so in like the #20+ rooms. But if you get something like Dolby Cinema all the seats are in great shape. I wish the IMAX theater had better seating I really hate those old type of theater seating. read more

I'm sure if you look at my check-ins you can tell I'm here quite a bit. I love the movies! I have a membership account that builds up points that can be used to purchase tickets or food. The membership also give you perks like waived fees online, upgrades, and an express line for different purchases. There always seems to be an Icee machine that is not working, but the have four so it's never been a problem. The pretzel bites and curly fries are great. I would like to see a few more healthier options. The seats are recliners and are super comfy. Some chairs are in need of cosmetic repair from normal wear and tear. I love that we can see and pick our seats before even purchasing the tickets. I love the AMC app, although I have had some issues with the payment section. When I contacted AMC about it I was told it was a known issue they were aware of. So now I usually use the AMC app to check the seats, but purchase the tickets in Fandango instead. You also have the option of ordering food from the app and having it delivered to you at your seat. I have not used this feature, but have seen the food get delivered. There is also a bar that serves alcohol. I have ordered drinks at other locations, but not at this one. The overall theater is one of the cleaner ones I've been to. read more

After going here for years I'm finally writing a review. I moved away from this area and was frequenting a different theatre and the differences are astounding. The popcorn is more flavorful, the seating reclines further back, they don't charge for jalapeños (I like to put it on top of my popcorn), Dolby/imax available, etc. I think people like Tinseltown because of the area it's in but this is the better theatre and I'll drive out my way to come here instead. read more

Haven't been to the movies in a long time but my boyfriend had been wanting to see TopGun so surprised him last night. Everything is super easy and convenient online reserving seats and purchasing tickets. So I was able to skip the box office, but it was refreshing to see someone working at it when we arrived. Walked in, got our tickets scanned and headed to the concession area. It's a large area with many options. Couldn't believe how expensive popcorn was, almost $10 for a regular size. I was disappointed with how unkept the area looked. I know it's a high traffic area but someone should be monitoring, picking up and cleaning it often. We then headed to the Imax theater to find our seats. It was a super large screen but I was disappointed that the theater didn't have reclining seats and it still has the old cloth seats that every stain sticks to. Floors were sticky and slippery on our row but made it to our seats and watched the movie. If i were to go to the movies often not sure I'd return to this particular AMC. read more

AMC Regency is the only theater I've been to in Jacksonville. They have spoiled me with the nice leather reclining seats so I haven't wanted to try another theater. Plus they have a bar which I have never seen in any theater before. However, the night I went to the movies the bar was closed which was a little disappointing. The seats are great! But I would suggest not sitting as high as row F, as my feet were in the way a little at the bottom of the screen once I reclined my chair. I would suggest sitting down closer to the screen to avoid this issue. The temperature was a little warmer than usual, but was good. I brought my own water bottle and did not buy anything from the concession. I think the prices are outrageous for soda, popcorn and candy. And not just at this theater but all theaters. This is my theatre of choice and I will continue to patronize this establishment. But I hope the bar is open next time I see a movie LOL. read more

I will give NO STARS to this place it was terrible the lady bar tender refused to sell me a drink only after my my second transaction which the drink was not even for me but my spouse instead. She was very disrespectfull and called me out infront of other customers which I did not appreciate it. I brought it up to the manager haylee for she to find out that her policy state two drinks per transaction but they chosed to not serve me and discriminate. She explicitly said she can refuse service whenever she wants. There you go AMC 24 in jacksonville you lost my business. PROVIDE TRAINING TO YOUR CREW. Because obviously they dont know your own policy. Almost forgot fixed your AC and your chairs because they don't work ie it was hot and the seat did not reclined. read more

I have easily seen literally 100s of movies in this theatre. Once upon a time ago, you could go to any movie before 6pm Monday - Thursday for only $5. I use to A LOT. Movies are quite costly now, so I don't go quite as often... I'd rather just wait and buy them on blu-ray when they are release (it's actually cheaper). But, when I do go to the theatre, this is generally the one I choose. They basically gutted the theatre a while back and put in all new super comfy reclining seat. Soooo comfy, in fact, that I bring a pillow and blanket with me. HAHA! No, I'm not kidding... I totally do! Closed Captioning has totally improved nowadays and they have awesome little CC devices you can pick up from Guest Relations. The devices fit into your cupholder in the theatre and you can adjust it so you can see it without it blocking the screen. Employees are really friendly throughout the theatre. I haven't had any problems there in a long time. I love the fact that we can buy our tickets via Fandango before we go because we choose our seats. Now, if we get there just as the previews are starting, our seats are reserved for us and there's no bother with having to find a seat/seats. If you're a AMC Stubs member, the Fandango fee is waived. I forget how much the AMC Stubs program is because the husband just pays it ever year before it's about to expire. I never really pay attention. I think it's between $10 - $15. It's worth it for us because we get points to use on free movies and concession items, plus, as I mentioned, no Fandango fees... that alone more than makes it worth it for us. The IMAX theatre does not have the new reclining seats. It's the only theatre that doesn't. I'm not sure why they didn't remodel that one too. I really wish they would!! Probably because the seats take up a lot more room so they would have to sell less tickets per movie. Oh well... just wanted to forward you. Friday and Saturday nights can be a pain and that's my only complaint. I see more kids and teens at this theatre than I have others. Annoying. But the theatre does beef up security so the kids don't get out of hand. BUT.... I see way too many kids going to R rather movies. I don't care if the parents are buying the tickets for them or not... they are suppose to accompany that child. PERIOD! But AMC continues to allow them in without their parent/guardian. Oh well. Regency AMC is my go-to theater, more so due to it's proximity to my house than probably anything else. But it's still a nice theater. Love the reserved seating, reclining seats, and the AMC Stubs program. Not an A-List member yet. I don't quite watch enough movies in a month to make it worth it. Food options are getting better. They now offer mac and cheese bowls at about the price you'd pay at a restaurant. I like the Chicken and Waffle sandwich. Salty and sweet. read more

I have seen several movies here but this was my first time in the Dolby theatre. I didn't know there was a difference! The Dolby theatre will give you a better experience overall,from the seats to the lighting. I like this location because it's hardly ever crowded compared to the Orange Park Update: they have replaced all the old broken chairs and updated the concession stand. So much better! read more

Very interesting theatre. I went day after Thanksgiving to see Murder on the Orient Express.... I had not seen any of the other versions nor had I read the book, but this was fun. The theatre had assigned seating...WOAH! I hadn't ever seen that before and so unfortunately with our group of 6 and getting there late, we could not sit together. Not only could we not all sit together, not any 2 seats were available together. So that sucked. But anyway, we go in, separate all around the theatre and get in our seats and guess what?!?! The seats recline! Not just any kind of recline, but they are electric recliner to almost flat. And these are soft, leather recliners.... WHAAAA!??! This was cool. I was very comfortable. Almost comfortable enough to fall asleep. I had to put the back up and legs down slightly to be in a more upright position so I wouldn't fall asleep. The theatre doesn't look brand new and I didn't try to concessions but I would definitely be back. Early for seats. read more

Used to go here all the time, but it has gone down hill... went tonight and between the constant disruption of the movie by a shirtless loud movie goer (who was never even confronted by security), the police presence, the power going out, and people sitting in seats they aren't supposed too causing more incidents with security... the trip was just awful and for someone who spent a combined $160 for tickets and food... very sad Never stepping foot in this place again Luckily it was a great movie at least! read more

AMC Theaters are our theatres of choice. We are avid movie watchers. We were previously AMC Premiere members and now part of the AMC A-List subscription program. It's a great deal where you can reserve movies/seats through the mobile app and web and view up to three a week. You still get all the perks of the Premier program like free Upgrades at concessions and the ability to earn rewards for purchases. AMC Regency has three types of main movie theaters regular digital, IMAX and the newest upgrade Dolby Digital. The types of seats within the theaters a little different depending on format. Regular digital has the reclining leather seats (although they are beginning to show age with many seats being ripped or torn). IMAX still has the old bucket seats that do not decline. Dolby Digital has the newer black leather recliners that have speakers in them that help with the overall movie experience. You literally feel explosions or other parts of the movie. AMC Regency is still our theater of choice but hope they make plans to renovate the older theaters that are showing age. read more

We went to see the new Batman movie and FYI it's 3 hours long but we are DC fans so it didn't bother us. There was no line no waiting at the ticket counter and since it's Tuesday our tickets was $6.99 per ticket. The popcorn was so good and fresh. My husband and I, faithfully, visit this theater for movie date night 3 to 4 times a month. Even more, during the Summer time. Once they added the new lazy boy seating, this theater became our #1 go spot FOR SURE. Did I forget to mention, they now service food and drinks to your seat? #Winning We always order our tickets in advance for the best seating which you are given the opportunity to reserve your seats. Nice, right???? Personally, my ultimate favorite is collecting the Stubs points for great deals and free concessions (for premium members they have a fast lane to the concessions); and the freestyle drink machines is a knockout win for me. Ladies, if you are like me and love checking out yourself whenever there's a mirror in sight. Go to the restrooms here..... mirrors galore!!! We only refer this theater to friends and family. Went to go see bad boys 2 ride or die today with friends. The AC in the auditorium was broke, and per manager, it won't be fixed for 3 days. She only offered us to come back another day and mind you, this was after we spent money buying snacks for show. They could have at least offered us a refund or credit for another showing. Theaters are clean, and the seats are comfortable. They don't have as big a food selection as some of the other theaters but they have the basics and they serve alcohol. The imax theater does not have reclining seats even tho you pay extra to watch in imax. Bathrooms are pretty basic movie theater bathrooms. They could use a little updating. read more

From the outside, it doesn't look like much. Heck even from the inside it's not that impressive, but I do love their recliner seats. The concession prices are typical of other theaters...high! They do run specials sometimes such as $5 combo for teens or $2 icee when you enroll to receive text messages. I only go to the theater a few times a year but when I do, I've always ordered my tickets online at Fandango.com. It's so easy and saves me time at the line and you can reserve your seats. Definitely a must do otherwise you may not get to sit with the rest of your party. AMC stubs changed their membership program a couple months ago. It's free to be a AMC Stubs Insider member, and $15 a year to be an AMC Stubs Premiere member. To order tickets on Fandango.com, there's a convenience fee per transaction if you're not an Stubs premier member. I'm not sure if the fee is waived as well for Insider members. I have the Premier membership and definitely feel the yearly membership pays for itself despite not going to the movies often. You automatically get $5 back just for signing up / renewing and there are other perks such as free movie screenings. Side Note: Tmobile members.
