We came to this theater for the first time today to see the new Mission Impossible movie. The theater is very big and very nice. They have twenty theaters in all, including an IMAX theater, which we were in. The lobby is very big with plenty of food options, including a bar. We would definitely return here to see another movie.

"We come to this place for magic." That statement couldn't be more true! I absolutely love AMC Theatres, and this location is one of my personal favorites. It's incredibly spacious, and the reclining seats are so comfortable, they make the whole experience feel extra special. If you sign up to be a Stubs member, you can get movie tickets for 50% off on Tuesdays and Wednesday, which is an amazing deal, especially since going to the movies has become a bit pricey. I recently went to see The Fantastic Four here and was thrilled to see a giant cardboard movie poster for photo ops, along with themed merchandise and food. I grabbed a mystery The Fantastic Four collectible bag clip and tried the Orange Rock Punch, which were both such a fun addition to the night! Overall, a fantastic experience.

This is my go to theater in JAX...the chairs may have a little west but I have never had a broken one. The theaters and bathrooms are always clean. The staff is always friendly and efficient. Never a bad time in this theater. McMuffins way overpriced but at least they don't pour you a weak drink.

My go to spot for movies. Love that I can reserve my seat prior to going, love the reclining seats, and the point system.

I really enjoyed this movie theater. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I went to see the movie Sound of Freedom. If you haven't seen it then you should. Matter of fact everyone should see it. There was a bar which was pretty packed. Also plenty of loose on and snacks to choose from. The bathrooms were spotless. The actual theater itself was spacious and very clean. The reclining chairs are also a plus. Been going to this movie theater since I was a child. And still love coming here to this day.

When it comes to comfy seating AMC definitely have the advantage with this recliners. The ability to have them go all the way back and allow the center armrest to come up for a "love seat" is a great feature. There was no worrying about flaking of the head rest (like in cinnamax theaters) which was very disturbing and gross. The down fall of this location was the lack of respect of guest who saw ( or lack of didn't pay attention to) the movie. It was an 800 pm movie R rated and looked like many in attendance where 16 and younger. Kids talking and yelling throughout the movie, running up and down the isles, when others who where actually trying to watch the movie (told them to be quite or shushed them) they used profanity back. Total lack of respect. I must of had on 4 different instances kids hit my feet while I was reclined going back and forth seat hopping. When we first showed up, a kid was sitting in our seats and I told him politely and showed him our tickets that this was our seats. He looked at me like I had 2 heads. I probably will not go back to this location. There should of been staff monitoring. The movie was awful too Halloween Kills. Save you $14 or watch it on your fire stick. I just thought it would of been nice to get out and catch a movie on the Big Screen. Oh well.

Movie world and fun! What a wonderful place and time. Just went to see the new live action of Aladdin and it took me back to childhood days and moments. With comfy seating and different kinds of viewing you just can't go wrong. Located- 9451 Regency Square Blvd Jax Florida 32225. Right near and behind the regency mall. Huge theatre with cool selections. From 3D to imax theatre seating. Your choice on how to view your movie. Walking towards the movie theatre I had already pre booked seating on my phone so all I had to do was get my code scanned. Having gotten the 3D choice I was so shocked to see how the seating was. I felt I was at home. With leather comfy seating in pairs and recliners I felt like I was in heaven. Seats are so comfy and adjustable whether you want to lay back or even just prop up your feet. You can adjust all this to your liking. Something I noticed also was that the theatre as a whole was very clean. Everything was also organized. Navigating the place was so simple and of course the surround system was amazing. The drinks were the computerized touch screen machine with over 50 different flavors. Of course the snacks of popcorn and nachos were always fresh. Aladdin definitely didn't disappoint since I was such a childhood fan! Thanks AMC for making everything so memorable!

Does the IMAX 3D theater still have the old non-reclining seats?..I saw in an older review that they had not changed those seats

It's still the same old seats. I suggest trying a movie in the Dolby Cinema room. I was an IMAX fan until I did Dolby.

You could literally slip a disc. We were shook, rattled, and rolled -- spattered with water (apparently you can turn the water off, but I never figured out how lol), spayed and pelted with air guns, jerked and jolted for the entire duration of the film. Was it a lot? Yes. Was I almost thrown from my chair thrice? Yes. Was it hard to get back into my chair after a restroom break? Yep. Was it difficult to eat my popcorn and drink from a can at some points? Yes. Did we both leave wearing some of our concessions snacks? Yes. Did our car keys shake themselves right out of the hubby's pocket at some point during the film, and we didn't notice until we'd exited and got to the car in the parking lot? Yes. Did we go back inside and find them lodged in the seat? Yes. But, after the shock and confusion of this being our first 4DX experience, did we enjoy it? Also, yes. Not sure how fast I'll come running back for 4DX, but it was certainly a unique movie-going experience, and theater seats are new. Cheers!

I hadn't been to the Jacksonville Zoo in years, so I was excited to see all the renovations. While the grounds look nicer, it also felt like there were far fewer animals than I remember. I was not able to find a several favorites, including the gorillas, cheetahs, and Florida panthers, and quite a few exhibits felt empty. I know animal collections change over time, but it just didn't feel like there was nearly as much to see. I was also disappointed to hear the koi fish had been transferred to another zoo since they were always one of my favorite stops. For me, the biggest issue was the value. Ticket prices have gone up, but I left feeling like I paid more to see less. The highlight of our visit was the people. The volunteers in the jaguar and rhino areas were incredibly knowledgeable and made those exhibits so much more interesting, and a staff member from a bird enclosure remembered us when we ran into them later in the day at the stingray exhibit. Those interactions honestly saved the experience. I have so many great memories of visiting this zoo growing up, which is probably why this visit was so disappointing. I really hope they continue adding to the animal collection because I'd love to have a reason to come back.

I'll let the photos from other reviews do the talking, but if you enjoy a good backstory, ask about the history of the space. My mission for the night was simple: end the evening with a great gin cocktail. I started with the Donna Bella from the menu. It was well made, but I thought the bitters were a little too forward for my taste. Next, I asked for an off-menu modification: a Water Lily for Teresa, but made with Roku Gin. It was a strong contender--aromatic, balanced, and beautifully floral. If you're a fan of a French 75, this is a fun cocktail to explore. It's less citrus-forward and leans into a floral profile with a character that's hard to compare to anything else. For the final round, I went with bartender's choice. Mick asked a few questions about my flavor preferences and absolutely nailed it. They crafted a cocktail with Roku gin, snap pea cordial, aloe liqueur, egg white, lemon simple, mint, and citrus that was easily the highlight of the night. Fresh, layered, and memorable, it's a drink that deserves a permanent spot on the menu....Mission accomplished. If you're willing to wander beyond the barbershop business front and you consider yourself a spirit explorer, Volstead is well worth the visit. Go for a round...or two. If you're local, this could easily become your staple spot. For what it is, strong craft cocktail bar option. Bartenders choice is the way to go.

Location is great, and the staff seemed friendly. It's good to have a place in Jacksonville with an environment like this and a place where you can go and listen to jazz/blues. I wish there was more like this, maybe with a little bit of older, jazz, musicians and more people who appreciate jazz as it didn't seem like the audience was 100% jazz lovers, but that doesn't detract too much especially since there's not a lot of places in Jacksonville that do what they're doing here.
