I have a have nut allergy and I have never had any allergic reactions to any of the food. I love their chicken biryani, chicken 65, all the naan breads and their chicken tikka! The spice is not too much for me and it's not over powering. I believe they can accommodate your spice level bc I do like my Indian food spicy. They do have a lunch menu but I personally just love the take out. The location does have a seating area and has a buffet section on the side; it's well kept and not too overwhelming. Give this place a try, definitely try a different item each time. This is my go to Indian restaurant in Denton .

But I was headed home and wanted to grab something en route for the family to eat. I glanced and saw a high rating and figured I can't go wrong with Indian food. Anyplace I've eaten had alway been good! So, I ordered Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Biryani, and Goat Curry through Yelp app. I was 5 minutes away and food was ready for pickup when I arrived, which pleased me but also made me wonder if it wasn't fresh. Nevertheless I arrived home and the food was packaged well and that was the end of the good experience. Surprisingly the food was rather terrible. And I have NEVER had bad Indian food. The Biryani was bland and hot for hot sake, like spicy and flavorless. The Nan was thick and rubbery. The tandoori was dry and nasty, like having a sour taste to it. My husband had the goat and said the sauce wasn't good. Overall I don't recommend this place. Seriously I hate I wasted $50+ with them and I honestly wish I could get my money back. Two thumbs way down. Save yourself and your money! Eat someplace else.

The atmosphere is nice (I miss Sweetwater though, lots of memories in there) and the customer sercive was polite, although if you are not knowledgeable about what you like, it may be hard to navigate the large menu. I recommend the onion samosas! Glad to have more traditional Indian food choices in Denton that are not locked into having to dumb down the spice level to get locals to eat there, since so many Indians live in Denton now. My Indian food review resume: been to India twice, Nepal (momos!), have tried over 50 indian restaurants in the DFW area (some of the best Indian food in the world can be found here!), and have eaten at Indian restaurants in many major US cities. Im not Indian, but I have decent experience with their food (North and South)

It's an order at a register and food brought to you type of place, so if you want full service dining I'd recommend Namaste instead. I wanted to branch out from my normal Masala or Korma, so decided to try the Chicken Pulao. Very spicy for me, but the flavor was on point. The rice was delicate, fluffy, and seasoned perfectly. I received two sauces with my meal; I'm not sure what they were, but they were mild. One was white with onions and peppers- seemed to be a yogurt sauce. The other was yellowish. Both were very tasty. I also ordered garlic naan and was not a fan of it at all. Naan is usually a must have for me when it's offered, but I'll be passing up on it the next time I eat here. It wasn't soft and didn't have much garlic flavor. Tough to chew on. Not appetizing at all. Excited to try them again.

I loved the podi idly and street side style egg hakka noodles they served us close to midnight. Service was a bit slow, but it was kinda expected as the parking space was cramped with students from nearby university and others from places around. Prices were reasonable and the option to sit on the benches or eat from our car gave me college vibes.

This culinary gem promises to elevate your food truck experience. However, its soaring popularity has led to a subsequent increase in prices, a drawback that could be remedied by offering more economical options, particularly considering the abundance of students in Denton seeking affordable dining choices. Having sampled nearly every offering on the menu, save for their biryanis, I can attest to the exceptional and flavorful fare this establishment provides. Among my favorites are the indulgent Ghee Karam dosa or Masala Ghee Karam Dosa, the savory Chicken Fried Rice, and the delightful Chitti Punugulu. Furthermore, the staff exudes warmth and hospitality, further enhancing the overall dining experience. Ambiance is decent.

At 30 mins i went to ask and was then told it would be ANOTHER ten mins with little more than a disnissive apology. $40 including a tip which you enter at the register......I might have adjusted it had I known about the wait....LOL.....In any case you can imagine how annoying it is to see everybody else get food while you're waiting for yours. Left with the food and the intention not to return. However to be fair, the food was pretty good when I got home and ate with the family. The spices are just beautifully done and cooked with care. While the wait is not ideal I can say the food was great. If it was just about the food I'd say 4-5 stars easily and perhaps I'd call it in next time and finish a few more pickleball games next door before walking over to pick it up. But the overall experience I would rate a 3. All forgiven as I realize sometimes it happens. Maybe next time it will be better overall.
